I heard something about Moyes too. Not happy at the possibilty of selling Baines and Screech.

Excited for what today brings (probably nowt)

Could a man who has been at a club for 10 years really use having to sell a couple of players as an excuse to leave?

Maybe, Alan Stubbs (on the Everton coaching staff) already admitted last month on live radio that he thinks Moyes is at a crossroads in his career.

I can't help but notice it's Monday morning and by all accounts Harry is still the Tottenham manager....

Bojan?

I'm not knocking your info Shanks but it does make me laugh when a source can't even get the basics right. I would be really surprised if we replaced a central midfield playmaker with an out-and-out striker.

Modric and Bojan are similar in stature but I would never play the latter as part of a CM 2!!

Don't think there's any doubt about that. Moyes has probably been waiting for a offer from anyone for about 4 years.

Watching modders last night made me realise why I love him so much. Would be gutted to see him go. Do you think Moyes could get the best out of this type of players? Its interesting how there is a lot of ITK floating around suggesting that Harry may be off. I think we would have already done it if this was the case.

Pierfilipo Capello son and agent of Fabio or Pier Fillipo Mazza, the famous sunday league San Marino international?

Watching Modric last night just reminded me of how well he can play when his heart is in it. How many performances like that did we see from him last season compared to the season before it?

How long would Moyes last with his usual bad starts to the season? He might be able to recover it for Everton each year to 7th or so, but no way we would get into the top 4 with such bad starts.

Keep Harry and get Moyes...Harry to do the first half of the season and then Moyes to take over the second half. Its the dream ticket as Harry always tails off and Moyes picks up

Yeh, but he will have Parker, VDV, Bale, Vertonghen etc all in his team, not a whole load of Tony Hibberts.

Firstly, it's not really info, was just posting what I heard from a mate, but can't see anything about it.

I'm not ITK fella, far from it and if I did hear anything from someone credible, this would be the last place in the world, I'd post it.

Just as a point of information, in 08-09 we took 23 points from our last 12, which was very good, and in 09-10 we took 27, which was even better.

Not sure you can really compare it that way. Why would Spurs under Moyes start equally poorly?! A manager can only do so much and a manager with virtually zero funds each year can do even less.

But anyway, this is not the thread for this debate! Are we treating this even as official ITK?! because if not we shouldn't be discussing Moyes at all in here I believe.

As for the Modric and Bojan stuff... nothing wrong with replacing a CM with a striker, if you think you have enough CM's or are going to line up other replacements later in window. I don't always read that stuff as black and white like for like replacement. What i read that as is selling Modric and using portion of the money now to buy Bojan as he is right this second available and we need strikers.

Doesn't mean I believe it will happen, but i think people need to stop reading these things as always like for like. It's like substitutions, you are actually allowed to replace your CM with a CF if you need to attack eh! ;)

If we are going to.go with any two from parker sandro Livermore and hudd as the 2 in a 4231 then getting bojan in as a replacement makes more sense than as a direct replacement in a 442... Attacking, creative, goal scoring midfielders and forwards is what we need... With the above system I think we will miss modric less than if we play him in a 442.
