Not so worried about the Poch thing. We know he could go to any top club in any country.

Eriksen im fine with leaving, it’s been on the cards for awhile and it’s understandable he wants to move on. PSG maybe..?

I’m hoping Poch and the squad can rest up, and Levy gets to work. Get business done ASAP.

Thanks for the info. The rumours about Eriksen leaving have been circling for a while it seems. I don’t understand how people seem to think he won’t be missed or that it would be easy to create or bring in a ready made replacement.

I think it’ll be more about changing the style of play should Eriksen go. We won’t replace him, we’ll hopefully land a quality player that does their thing well that the team recalibrates around

Just like Liverpool did when they sold Coutinho; we need to be very smart about how we "replace" Eriksen, be that directly or indirectly

As I’ve said before, Eriksen leaving isn’t a disaster.

Yes he’s been a great servant to the club and was a big part of the reason we didn’t go backwards when Bale left, but that was six years ago and I think his time with us has run its course now.

He’s had a poor season, not through lack of ability but through lack of interest IMO.

If that’s the case, thanks for the memories Christian and the best of luck in the future.

It’s a shame, but he’s not irreplaceable. He’s not Modric, Carrick, Berbatov or Bale - all far bigger losses and we survived those. We’ll survive this.

The thing I don’t get is where the fuck is Eriksen going because Madrid and Barca are seemingly not interested right now.

If Eriksen ends up as the marque signing at Madrid there will be a lot of very angry fans after being in for Hazard, Mbappe, Pogba and flirting with Neymar in the last few months.

I still think that he'll go to Real as they need to replace Modric. Hazard is the Bale replacement. Mbappe would be the Ronaldo replacement.

Eriksen will probably go and so too Alderweireld. Trippier too will be off.
But none of these 3 are irreplaceable.
However, I am getting fed up with the Poch saga.
IF he wants to go then we can't force him to stay.
Has done great for spurs but can't have this uncertainty over the team all the time about his future.
Maybe will do a season in Germany or elsewhere until call back to PL or Spanish league for Man Utd or R Madrid / Barca

Agree pissed off with Poch and his stupid quotes about leaving both after the Ajax game and before this , as oppose to Klopp saying bullshit he isn’t going anywhere , don’t get the Bayern link though , he hasn’t won anything don’t think they would have him and can’t see what he would prove going there

The stadium running out of beer yesterday may have cost us the chance of a superstar signing! Spurs could be been a couple of million better off if it wasn’t for such a foolish mistake. No wonder Poch wants to leave.

How many times does poch need to say he’s going nowhere ffs. The goat’s info says “should poch leave” not that he’s going. I’ll be astounded if he’s not our manager next season.

As JJ always says, the best itk is poch and listening to him in his interviews. Think back to the last one he did with talkSPORT. There’s your answer.

Only thing that worries me about the Eriksen ITK is, regardless of who we bring in as a replacement, the ramifications for our other player who will see us yet again sell one of our star players to a (presumably) 'bigger' club. This summer more than ever we need to underline our ambition to our own squad.

Liverpool sold Coutinho to 'a bigger club' and look where that got them

Agree. We need to get deals done early and go all in for our top targets

IMO, it doesn't matter what Poch says, the media will still plough on with their agenda and Poch knows this. If he said he was 100% committed to staying here they would still come out with the same bullshit. I think any comments made at the moment are designed to let Levy know that he expects to be backed properly - nothing more.
