Have enjoyed Eriksen at Spurs but I feel his time is done.
He has been poor this year and has seemed 'gone' for a few months now, however this poor play may have been noticed by RM and they have decided to move on, should we offer him a new contract if that is the case, a NO from me, he has mentally left THFC and will not get that feeling back. Lets replace him with a younger more dynamic player and move forward as a club.

Seriously? If we could get him to sign a new contract we could focus our resources on more pressing positions and instead replace Lamela who seems to perma crocked. Bumping Eriksen contract is much cheaper than replacing him.

The thing is that this whole Spurs team has played under par for large parts of the season. Even Kane has played under par, Alli has most definitely played under par. Eriksen has also played under par but has still been better than the aforementioned. Yet some wants to flog him based on some perceived notion that his "heart isn't in it", which they naturally gathered from watching his facial expression on a TV screen. Eriksen has always been a role model professional if he'd sign a new contract with us it would be because he has been convinced that's the best alternative for his career right now - and he would act accordingly and give his best to achieve the club goals.

We have some passengers in the squad at the moment. But Eriksen isn't one of them as I see it. I'm still fairly certain he'll leave but not offering him a new contract, trying to sway him, would be ludicrous.

Lazy media John and this just fits into their ongoing narrative against spurs -
@OllieHolt22
Oliver Holt should know better

Ben Harris
@_Ben_Harris

to be fair Poch constantly flirts with the media and seems obsessed with cultivating speculation about himself.

Maybe

Ben Harris @_Ben_Harris

he could just shut it down. But after Ajax and again last night giving cryptic answers - unfair on the fans imo

It’s transfer teasing for Levy Show me the booty. Or....

I highly doubt we'd sell Eriksen for the £50-60m a lot of people keep referencing if the rumours of Real paying £106m for Hazard are true. Yes, Hazard is better, but he's also out of contract next summer and I see Levy using whatever the figure is for him as a bargaining chip. It wouldn't surprise me if a certain Gareth Bale was part of the negotiation though.

As for Poch going, if he goes he goes. We're at least in a position where we can now attract elite managers. We're in need of a rebuild anyway so as much as I want him to stay, if he wants to leave then he's done enough for this club to earn it.

They all need a break from football. The World Cup and coming tournament will mean they are knackered next year. Too much top level football

If we sell Eriksen then I hope we buy Lo Celso and another creative midfielder. Otherwise we will be in exactly the same situation as we have been all season.

There are so many positions we need to upgrade it's worrying.

To be fair I am a little disappointed with Eriksen. He was probably my favourite player for many years, but he has so clearly lost his interest in playing for Tottenham. Even Modric who evidently tried to force his way out the door to much more of an extent than Eriksen, at least from an external perspective, and was made to stay for one more season, rolled his sleeves up and played excellently for that final year. Eriksen just seems like he doesn't care anymore and his comments directly after the Ajax game sounded like he was almost sorry we beat them. Also even if you don't have any great affection left for the team you're playing for and know you're leaving, a chance to win a champions league medal I'd have thought would be a huge motivation to step up one more time. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, and I will still remember him positively, but sadly it certainly seems like its time to move on for both parties. I can see Eriksen regretting it though in the future if he doesn't get his dream Madrid move and has forced himself into a position where he has to take the next best offer.

If Lo Celso is as good as everyone seems to think, then I don’t mind Eriksen leaving this summer.

As good as he has been for us, I’ve never really taken to him. I find him to be quite a bland personality on and off the pitch.

Really?? He doesn't care??

Couldn't disagree more. He said after the defeat to Ajax that we were better than them and was clearly disappointed at losing. His reactions when we won were clearly of a player who was thrilled.

He's not the most of passionate players anyway, he's always quite dry with his humour but to say he doesn't care is nonsense IMO. He's not been at his best, through form or fatigue - nothing more to it than that.

Regarding GOAT’s ITK, Eriksen leaving will hurt but at the same time, the only thing he’s consistent at is being incredibly inconsistent. So its a replaceable loss.

As for Poch, all you have to do is listen to what he says. He is pretty straightforward. He’s been flirting with leaving since about March. We’ll know if he’ll stay within the next week or so. Levy’s going to have to make an early statement of intent in the market. If he does not, Poch will leave. And he is not a replaceable loss.

yes agree with all that, think he has been playing nearly every game so after last summer and a long season it has taken a lot out of him and the whole squad too. of course he has had a poorer season but get CL next season and a CL Final really can't complain.

I think most of us have prepped ourselves for Eriksen to be sold. In all honesty, I think we're going to see a whole bunch of outgoings. But, the most important thing is getting our targets. If we can get younger, bring in quality and show Pochettino we do mean business and are dedicated to making the next step up, it should give Pochettino what he needs to stay on and move forward with "the project."

I didn't say he didn't care at all, or at least that was not my intent. Its more that the spark has gone. And I did get the sense he was somewhat more subdued than usual after the Ajax game and the comments he made were perhaps a little too downbeat, but that may well have been out of respect to Ajax more than anything else, which is why I said I might have just been reading too much into it. But the fact remains that the spark seems to have died. Sadly, I do believe it is more than mere fatigue, however much I wish you to be correct in that regard.

We've been through a gruelling season after a Summer World Cup. We've run out of steam at the end of the season but our rivals never had the Summer or the injury crisis we had to deal with. We need a few faces to freshen up the squad and we need a decent rest more than anything. I don't think wholesale changes are necessary, but quality rotation options are.

We had previous ITK that through Perez the coaching team are extremely happy about everything. Reading between the lines that tells me things are in place, not just empty words, genuine intent is being shown by Levy and we are making big moves. Obviously that could all unravel but I'd imagine something significant has happened like talks with players have happened, player wage packages have been agreed in principal and it's left to agreements with the clubs to push these deals pretty much to the dotted line stage.

In my opinion, there’s no way Poch will leave this summer... and when he does, it’ll either be for Madrid, PSG or Argentina. Or a very very slight possibility of Man U. But i still think he’s with us for the long haul.

I’d hate to see Eriksen leave but it’s looking likely. As long as we spend to replace on a similarly great player - and not Grealish (would still have him but as a squad player initially) - then I’ll be happy. We need to think big and I think we’ll surprise a few doubters in the transfer market this window.

Sad when Eriksen is sold. Our team has more or less stayed together for what seems like ages now.
