As for people talking about Uncle Joe breaking open his piggy bank and increasing our wage limits etc, doesn't this run counter to Financial Fair Play rules. I'm not sure when they come in or what exactly they involve apart from knowing that clubs are supposed to be relying on income they generate to pay the expenses rather than sugar daddies. Once we increase wages that's an annual burden because we can't then decrease them, and until the new stadium arrives our income is limited. In order to comply with FFP there is only a certain amount therefore by which we can increase wages.
We may be in a position to spend fairly big in transfer fees as we haven't reeally spent much over the last couple of seasons but there is no way that we will be competing with Chel$ki and Citeh on wages
