Without entering the debate about anything else, I just feel the need to point out that Kane is very much a striker, he just happens to have technique and passing ability. This is backed up by his impressive goal return when moved up front at a poor millwall side.

'Dan' couldn't scratch his own backside if you drew him a picture; you think he can distinguish between a striker and a midfielder? Or shit and a hole in the ground?

This may sound a bit a left field, but if we were to get £35m for Modric, I'd throw Tom Carroll into the team and spend the cash on a striker.

Carroll stood out in the Europa XI we fielded and he was surrounded by kids. If he's gonna develop, it will be by playing with Rafa, Bale and Sandro 'Pain' Ranieri.

Anyway, that's my opinion. Bring on the negs.

Worth giving him some game time or we never know what he can do- tho I wouldn't wanna rely in him for 30 plus prem games

I'm so frustrated with a lack of answer- I am hoping to get some info myself Wednesday off a colleague who has info from one if our best players- problem is that my mate ain't fussed on footy plus how much would the player know anyway? So not holding my breath

Let's hope Sweden actually do something against France tomorrow, we draw with Ukraine and France go out. Can they go out if they lose? Not that they will, Sweden are so poor.

I would be happy with Blanc, completely surprised but fairly happy, he seems like he has a good managerial career ahead of us and hopefully he can do well with us.

so one poster wants tom carroll to replace modric... i really despair sometimes.. if we 35 million for modric who will def go then i expect every last penny of that to be made avaiable to new manager to replace modric and strenghten other areas on top of the rest of summer money already earmarked for the club.
