This thing about not having much time to conduct business.

Wasn't it made clear that any business we would make, would have been done yesterday, but announcing today?

Surely, leaving us with time (if anything has been done).

After 6, if nothing has be done, then start your meltdowns.

But, think about it a little - we started recruitment earlier than normal, sorted out a major issue last season in getting our dfense sorted (and we actually look pretty strong there).

We've finally bought two quick attackers and got rid of a fair amount - I'd say theres enough to be very happy about personally.

Getting an addition forward and CDM would be great, certainly for a cover perspective, but if we don't it really isn't the end of the world!

Must have just happened then as they just signed Moses on a season long loan deal... another player off the suicide watch list! Stay positive you bunch of feckers!! COYS!

We're not the only club that leaves deals to the last minute so there's obviously a reason why some deals happen like this, only cash rich clubs tend to get their shopping done mid summer.

It's this, in a nutshell.

We know that prices decrease as the deadline looms, and that DL loves to pay less. When you're spending £20m+, 1 or 2 million makes a huge difference.

He's also not afraid of following through and pulling the plug if he doesn't like the deal, even if we lose out (e.g. Ade to WHam in Jan).

I'm happy to wait & see what happens...

Either way, I'll be at Dismaland today...

Club can be confident, but we've learned there is long way from that to actually landing the targets. Not trying to paint it black, just saying club being confident is quite far from stamping it.

I believe you are only permitted two loans from PL clubs. They have Jenkinson and Moses. As both Lennon and Ade have one year left on their deals, I hope something can be worked out but it wouldn't surprise you if they forgot about that rule. It's happened before!
