Well, it won't be Barca - their transfer ban has just been confirmed.

Is that the one that allowed them to buy Suarez, Bravo, Vermaelen, Mathieu, & Rakitic? Absolute Bullshit. The ban is for 2 consecutive windows. If the appeal has been overturned, they should not allow any of the above to play until the ban has been served (which would be next season).

It amazing how far Uefa can get their tongues up Barca's & Reals arses

i am more worried lack of offers for our lot...
Lets be clear-if we don't sell, we dont get players in.

At the moment, I can see offers only for Andros

Enforcing a ban while an appeal against said ban is underway doesnt work in civil law governing the rules of Associations, trade etc. The only exception is where public safety is involved. Barca took advantage of their appeal serving as an effective injunctive function against the ban, but still UEFA wouldnt have had a leg to stand on if they tried to enforce the ban during an appeal.

Liking the suggestion from JJ around MS. I guess it would be fair to assume at this stage that Capoue is the preferred genuine DMF as he has a little more to his overall game than Sandro, who whilst we love him, we all know is injury prone and arguably lacking in the passing department.

I think Bentaleb will still get plenty of games but it will be intriguing to see if Dembele and Paulinho are in his plans or whether they will be one of the previously mentioned 7 to possibly go. I think the latter is likely to be sold.

Contrary to my pessimism, JJ seems reasonably optimistic about MM. Furthermore, depending on how much you read into things may have indicated that MS is still on with the "winner rating"

How about we talk about that instead of who united might sign and Barca's transfer ban (y)

Yes lets discuss the lack of ITK on the deals we never close.

I think DL will take £30m'ish for JV...........I might also. :sneaky:

It's the same old story though, it's too late in the window and we can't replace him. Anyway no links so I'm going to stay positive.

There's no recent ITK that I've seen on JV's situation, so surely this isn't the place to unload your hopes and fears.

One decent piece of ITK, and quite a few peeps seem to 'unload' quite furiously....

MM?

look as I said before I'm probably making 2+2=5 - Jan might be holding off on the new contract till he sees who we are bringing in, AKA "our commitment to the future" in transfer speak.

Well he's waiting for something, my instincts tell me its Man Utd.

They are probably waiting for Levy to drop his ridiculous asking price.

Not going to happen

Another bit of JJ "info" relating to MS: he rated a post of mine "winner" late last night in yesterday's ITK thread, where I said Pochettino has not seen what he is looking for from the CM candidates who are currently on the team.

So, I would infer that we are still very much in play for MS to come in and play CM.

It only confirms that Poch really wants him. Which actually makes it even more important we bid closer to what Southampton want.

From £65m to £65m + BAE?

And ManU are that bloody desperate nothing would surprise me!

mini snippet from trix: Was told that even though Poch see's CB as our weakest area, MS is without doubt his number 1 target for this window.
