I always find it strange that someone goes to all the trouble of opening an account (which let's face it these days is like pulling fucking teeth), then locating an article, copying and pasting it, only then to basically willingly get themselves banned.

Strange thought process.

Any ideas on the Italian ITK we got the other day?

No we just know that Baldini was in Italy. Or Rome, as that's the only place he tends to go to scout while in his home country. But we haven't heard anything on the "whom"

he was life and soul of the party up until when he heard a sordid story relating to his auntie jean and her taxi business....... the jam seemed to drop out of his doughnut from that point on..

MS may be Poch's main priority this window, but why the hell did we leave it so late to move on him then? Surely it would of been easier to get him in before the rest of the Premier League began cherry picking the Southampton team?? o_O

I agree - I see MS, and the CM position in general, as the heartbeat of the team - when that position is working, the entire team looks better.

The defense could certainly use an upgrade, and I am hoping Musacchio comes in (I had him as more important than Schneiderlin until JJ indicated Pochettino is not satisfied with the current CM players), but controlling the midfield properly helps the entire team keep shape attacking and defending.

This is what 'Trix' followed up with earlier;

''....CB is without doubt the position we are most desperate to get someone in and I'm fairly sure this will happen even if it's not MM. Ask Poch which player he'd most want to see come in though and it is MS. There is, from what I have been told, no back up option to MS as we have plenty of good players there already.

IMO he must see MS as a trully top player to think like this.''

This is obviously both what he has heard and his own opinion and is meant to follow on/clarify his original comment posted further back...'

LIKE EVERY OTHER PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM WHO DOESN'T HAVE AN BOTTOMLESS PIT OF CASH!!!
Really ?? I dont see Everton or Liverpool scratching around for last minute deals , they got their biz done nice and early...If , as most ITK's say MS was the one identified by Poch as indispensable , then we shud have busted a gut to get him in early on in the window especially as there was such a fire sale going on at Soton...

But its not ITK if its not from somebody who is actually In The Know and the Source has been verified by the Mods, ITK is not just any rumour it is knowledge of transfer dealings or other goings on communicated from someone who actually knows something and not just a WUM on there summer holidays

I believe that Poch needed to assess the squad(including the WC lot) before putting the squad under the knife. Now that he knows his team, his priorities are sorted and he wants MS in.

Liverpool are much richer than ourselves and had the Suarez money burning a hole in their pocket and did just what we did last year - pay a premium for the players they wanted. There was no point in them haggling - Southampton knew they were quids in and couldn't play the "we can't afford that price" card. Everton bought Lukaku. A player they had on loan. I'm sure things were pretty straight forward there. More than likely things were well underway before the window even opened.

You're being needlessly pedantic.

The pressure gets to us all my Son, I've found strong lager gets me through these windows. My younger bread bins smoke the spliff, either or my Son either or, you take your chances & do what you need to do to get through the window, nobody judges you UNTIL you diss the ITK then you open Pandora's box, good luck my fellow Spur, I hate it when I see one crack before my own eyes, only a few more days to go, COYS

.... I call a minutes silence as we remember our fellow fallen truth seeker to the madness of the transfer window.

Everton used the Felliani money from last summer to help pay the deposit on Lukaku. Using Everton as an example of how to do deals is laughable. They hardly buy anyone. Most of their deals are loans.
