Then use the Read Only. When the ticker is back up it'll only be picking stuff up that's posted in there anyway. Do that and you'll get to the bottom line even quicker.
I think it is because he writes formally as well. Working as a teacher - it worries me that a number of ITKs don't seem to be able to string a sentence together and I can visualise some of them being the students I teach on a wind up!

My guess is that if we are successful with Villa we would only sell Defoe or Ade if we also land LD at the end of the Window.

.. I just came across a post elsewhere & figured I'd share it. It's not ITK but it could well be related to ITK we've been receiving. Apologies for the suspect English, I hope you're able to translate it lol.....

I lifted this from an ITK who works in the financial markets...USD, Spurs are watching LHS CABLE (GBP/USD). This via guesswork would be to a south American club as this is what they quote in. As USD is favourable to convert back from their native currency. It also hides their true value and you can wind up a few extra costs via quoting in your non base (native) ccy. From what i can see we’re looking at a largish upfront with using FX to an advantage for longer payments (thing X upfront, Y over Z years).
Why this tickled my pickle is that spurs are clever/educated in FX options. These options have something called “time value”. Simply the further away you can book something the better price (not 100% correct, but a point in this argument). We are looking to utalise Time Value to better the market for USD’s. Thus a summer deal would be a “guess” for whatever these dollars are for. But the upfront payment was a spot deal (aka now). 1+1=5 would lead me to think we could secure now and pay later.
When we get the player no idea. So all of this is me deducing – but again i would think there are legs/questions/working to our potential striker"........

I agree, I just suspect that there may be a little 'groundwork' going on here to maintain his value. I believe there has been some interest there and, if it is serious, the club is just ensuring that prospective buyers are of the belief that we still see him as an asset and will only part reluctantly if the price is high enough.
If DL is going to try to work the Oracle and bring another striker in late in the day, then the timing will need to be near flawless so that we get maximum value for Defoe whilst getting LD for the lowest possible price.
It may also be sending a message to Inter that, whilst we may have wanted him previously, we are happy to keep Defoe & Ade unless they come back to us with a lower price. If Inter really are looking to offload him then the strategy may just work. But like I said, I think the timing would need to be flawless.
If DL pulls that off then big props.
Having said all that I'm probably talking a lot of pie in the sky.
