If we are doing all these loans then surely we are not out laying big bucks in the short term. Is that to keep our powder dry for something else or do we think that won’t materialise? The loans pose very little risk to the club so perhaps it’s being non-comittal or maybe something else. But surely we can’t bleat about not having funds for me when we re doing things this way.

Unfortunately I can see these dramas cropping up every transfer window while Conte is here.

Please remember, as we head into the final few days, that salt should be applied to all ITK updates and especially media stories and with things as they are we're going to see lots of those! So try to retain some
optimism!
Right now things are about as volatile as we've seen it but stay hopeful that things will get better, this is a certain someone's panic time and anything can happen as the club wheelbarrow has it's wheels oiled ready for the final rush.
Of course we've been here before with lots of promise and no end result, but this time might be different!

Exactly. Players like Chilwell and Reece James can play both the wing back role and full back equally as well. I believe Porro is this level of player.

Porro was a winger though that’s been converted to a Wing Back.
Chilwell and James are full backs.

I think it might be a stretch to expect Porto to perform at a high level at Right Back of a 4.
