RM's midfield is stacked....Isco would be the one exciting/plausible option.

Would also fit with Holtby being linked away as well.

Nah, not for me. I don't think Isco is any better than Holtby anyway.................

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I nearly had you there.

I'm assuming Coentrao is firmly put to bed what with Davies signed and the resurgence of Rose?

Would only really leave Isco or Jese and I can't see anything materialising for the latter.

So Fazio in seems pretty much as certain as transfers go at Spurs without the picture holding the shirt and is a solid replacement for Daws. Despite the hate from seemingly the majority of Spurs fans, Paulinho didn't play any worse than Lamela last season and he was quite highly thought of before that so i wouldn't be too suprised if a few clubs are interested. Probably more like the Evertons and Newcastles of this world than the big boys but i dont see us losing too much money if we do sell. Also Soldado, lots of people want him to stay but personally if we get the money we have paid on him back (remembering we have only paid a portion of the overall transfer fee) then that is probably a good bit of business given his age and the fact Kane is currently above him in the pecking order anyway. If he does go we will need to bring someone else in unless we believe Chadli is our third striker - maybe that is the RM link to a loan player and Jese (cant see him getting too much time in that front 4 this season). Although i never trust the last ditch attempts for a star as it always seems more like a PR stunt than a genuine effort to recruit. I also cant shake the feeling that Sandro is gone. IMHO i can see us shifting Dawson, Sandro, Paulinho, Townsend and Soldado and bringing in Fazio, Schneiderlin, Rodriguez/Wellbeck and turning another profit in the TW (a loan for Jese or Isco would be a bonus). I also think this will be a better overall squad with numbers down by 2 and upgrades defensively.

Storts on Coys;

On the slim possibility of a surprise signing:

''Ha, possibly, please don't get excited, I was told there's a possibility on the last day of the window for one from RM on loan, but highly unlikely i'd say, just a slight possiblity.''

ISCO!!! :LOL:

I remember a season or two back that we had ITK saying that Dan the Man only does loan deals with an agreed buy out clause at the end of the 12 months.

If the Isco rumor does have legs then it could be a permanent move.

What IF DL's ice bucket challenge had more to it than we know? What IF they have been negotiating a loan deal and Perez won't do a deal, and this was DL's way of reminding him he owes us one? :wacky::stinkyfeet::whistle:

I said at the time Real got Rodriguez Isco might be a bit frustrated. He is a brilliant player and was playing pretty regularly early last season, then Ancelotti adjusted his shape a bit, it worked well and then he struggled for playing time

But the idea of Isco, Eriksen and Lamela as an attacking three behind a striker is mouthwatering, passing, interchanging, vision, invention, creativity and goals. It was push us up to really serious title contenders, especially if we do add a Snidey or Rabiot to CM
