I said at the time Real got Rodriguez Isco might be a bit frustrated. He is a brilliant player and was playing pretty regularly early last season, then Ancelotti adjusted his shape a bit, it worked well and then he struggled for playing time

But the idea of Isco, Eriksen and Lamela as an attacking three behind a striker is mouthwatering, passing, interchanging, vision, invention, creativity and goals. It was push us up to really serious title contenders, especially if we do add a Snidey or Rabiot to CM
Please don't build my hopes up...cruel rating for you

If it's 'guess' the RM player out on loan to us then I'd guess at Morata [Edit] - wrong!! :D Would make Barry Mead happy also.

All along I've felt Soldado's place is in jeopardy as he now seems to be 3rd choice behind Ade and Kane. He really needs to now do something exceptional when, or more importantly if given a chance, like knock in a couple of important goals - against the Scousers? :playful:.

Will he still be here Monday night?

Hertyid is saying that Arsenal are in for Wellbeck to cover Girouds injury.

Would probably put pay to our supposed interest.

(just posted it in here because I think we have had ITK on Danny..?)

The usual possible Real Madrid loan rumour late in the window then!

Yep...it was always coming.

Like the Steward Downing and Christian Wilhelmsson rumours of old, we currently live in a time of persistent Real Madrid rumours.

I'll miss them when they're gone.

Personally hope we hang onto Soldado. The service to him last year was woeful and he lost a load of confidence. The movement and change of pace we have seen this season will suit him though.
Levy's good - but not that good!

He had a 'Carlsberg' moment when he signed Rafa though.

Soldado to Milan can only be as a loan surely. They're looking to loan Torres and Chelsea have said that they will need to buy him. So they've seemingly come to us to see about the availability of Soldado, but it must be on loan based on how they wanted to get Torres.

Regarding the possible Madrid player coming our way, with Di Maria now at Utd, i can't see Real letting Isco leave, they will be a bit lacking in wide cover if that's the case.

However what Madrid do now have is 5 midfielders competing for 2 positons, so you would imagine that they would want to move on one of these 5: Kroos, Xabi Alonso, Modric, Illarramendi and Khedira.

Given that they just signed Kroos, Illarramendi cost them £34m last summer, Khedira is now apparantly not for sale and it seems very unlikely that they will sell Modric, i would hazard a guess that the most likely player to move on is Alonso.

Like others, I can't see us wanting anyone other than Isco from Real Madrid and it does smack of the VDV signing that Levy pulled out of the bag previously, so much so that I'd wonder if he was looking to do it without any request from Poch.

Having said that, I doubt Poch would be unhappy to get him in his squad, lol.

Ah, the "Dan Love Willy" episodes. A&C remembers them well ...

I wouldn't want him on loan though
