Redmond hasn't looked 'a class above' for Norwich to be fair - as someone suggested before. He's looked talented playing for Norwich, but where he has looked a class above has been for the England under-21s.

In relation to other posts. Holtby would be good in a midfield three. Less so in a two.

A rhetorical question is a question that you ask without expecting an answer. It might also be one that has an obvious answer but you have asked the question to make a point.

In this case, the point is... Things will only really kick off ITK wise after the tournament finishes.

Prices quoted for Lallana are too high - and don't think we need anyway
Lovren is one the CB's we need, so lets hope quick deal can be done with Soton - who look like they will have a totally different set-up to last season.

Anyway...I'd rather we pushed for Lovren and built from the back. Lallana would be great but we really need to focus on our weaker areas before we splash out on luxuries.

Much like one of them films where some poor geezer is wandering through the Sahara desert crazed with thirst and sees one of them mirage thingys, you know, an oasis or something that isn't there, a few people have latched onto my OP and made something out of nothing. The great ITK drought of the summer of '14 has literally driven a few people insane.

Agreed, would have preferred Shaw anyway (if we were picking one and not both), but he is clearly Man United bound...
Although, I am disappointed he might be Liverpool bound. Surely it's worth hi-jacking it for that alone, the RAWK fall-out would be worth the money!

I think we are focussing on Lovren though and CB is clearly an area we need and want to strengthen.
