Couldn't agree more.

He's (seemingly) the managers number 1 target & we should do all we can to get him in.

I know people can say "But NDombele was Poch's number 1 target & look how that's turned out". And they'd have a valid point!

The difference in this instance, is the fact that we know Traore can & will perform in the PL.

We know Traore and the manager get on extremely well & there's very clearly a bond between them. This is something that can't be understated in football. 2 way respect will always reap rewards.

We know Traore adds something we're seemingly lacking.

You know what you're getting with Traore. He wouldn't just be an expensive punt.

Unlike NDombele, who's just been an expensive ****.

Agree with what you say,did anyone else bring up Ndumb or did you pre empt that comparison to refute?

Think we need to see some activity today. No way we go into tomorrow in the same position and still get 3 in.

We have had a great start to the season in what has been difficult circumstances, now major decisions need to be made by Paratici. Its stick or twist time Fabio, give us the ammunition to challenge for top 4 or are we going to be resigned to aiming for 6th or 7th.

Traore with the way he trains, eats and plays has another 3 yrs at the top level. Hes 26 in Jan, he's an elite sprinter, body builder, no way he can continue this into his 30s and Wolves know it. This is a great deal for them
Of course he can. Like Ronaldo... If he watches his sleep, nutrition and training he can keep it going way into his thirties. He will be less explosive and quick, but still be a handfull. Jaromir Jagr(51!) still plays hockey at a professional level, Ronaldo and Messi are still going, Thiago Silva, etc, etc. So basicly what you are saying is plain wrong

It's going to be a busy 2 weeks.
It's going to be a busy week.
It's going to be a manic Monday.
We are trying, but deals seem to be extremely difficult to do.
Sadly we ran out of time.
We have an excellent bunch of professionals which Nuno will get the most out of their talents.

Mix and match the most likely scenario

No one said that.

Why does it always feel like there's people waiting to eagerly to throw shade on it all? It's getting towards the point where people are sat around like snipers, waiting to justify months worth of negativity.

When people say "wait until the window is closed", they don't mean "we will sign Messi". This is all like complaining about the taste of your food in a restaurant before it's even been cooked.

I'm perhaps naively hoping that we're leaving all the deals we had previous reports that we've more or less agreed (Aouar, Tomiyasu etc.) until the last couple of days in case something better was thrown at us or the teams reduced their prices to get the players off the books at short notice.

I'm an optimist, and even I'm shocked we've seen such little movement. Especially considering the Kane situation was sorted out nearly a week ago.

I can't see us getting all 3 signings we require, but I very much doubt our business is done when we've had confirmed reports we're after a CM, RB and CF/RF.

I mean, it’s all starting to look a bit familiar isn’t it? Think if we get to dinner time tonight and still nothing, we will all be justified in starting to panic!

Yeah that’s about where I’m at. Think we need to start pulling triggers now though.
