Eze, Bowen, Clarke. Feels like too many attackers to fit in.

I'd happily take Eze but adding Bowen feels like something we don't need and I'm really concerned he's not good enough. We need players who offer more than a few goals. Lucas provides that, we need players who are better on and off the ball to make our attack more fluid.

Our eyes was high on Bowen under Poch, but for some piss poor inexcusable reason, Poch didn’t fancy him. I have no intel on this one as of now, but we can’t be ducking around (if true) over a few extra millions (circa say) £18m, if we really want him. Our main issues is defensive, and a defensive creative midfielder imho. Not saying I would’nt take this kid.

I’d move Moura on- he’s far too inconsistent and, CL semifinal aside, lacks the fire to edge us through. A young homegrown prospect, hungry and snappy, would suit us better

6 months on contract, hull risk losing on a free in summer

Bowen's contract expires 2021 (June 2020 + 1 year option).

This is what he signed in 2017.

Not for Bowen I wouldn't.

If we're going down that route we need a winger who has high work rate and supplies, like Willian under Jose at Chelsea.

Bowen is more of a Dele type who scores but doesn't do too much in the construction of the attack. We'd be better off going for Bruno Fernandes if we want goals as he can at least drop into midfield and construct.

Herc - sorry mate but you are better than this. Your own posts, that I look forward to, have made it very clear that our Daniel owns many, many of the transfer missteps. It just isn't on to lay this at Poch's door. Let's be honest - Levy was too cautious, he is a very good business man but simply got a bit too conservative on a few too many occasions. It led to this shambles of a season.

Danny needs to acknowledge mistakes. Bring in a D of F with POWER who would work well with Jose - take a step back himself and trust the professionals. He has done many things well but needs to recognize his own limitations.

Separately....what on earth are they thinking giving Toby 3.5 years and possibly some of the others at the end of their contracts - clear to everyone that several are SO stale that they need to leave for the club and themselves.

If you read the next part of the sentence you have highlighted, it says 'Poch didn’t fancy him'

All criticisms levied on Levy seemed way too convenient it is becoming ridiculous.

Sorry for not highlighting the whole part of the sentence. That makes it read even worse, in that the club were scouting players and offering them up without checking with Poch along the way that they should carry on spending time scouting. Then after he left they blamed him

A lot of what went on with transfers is beginning to make sense...

You are so desperate to paint the club as the bad guy in your defense of Poch, that you totally spin what was written to suit your agenda. The way I read fom @Hercules is that certain players, that were available, Poch did not want. My personal opinion is that Poch's judgement of players left a lot to be desired. Case in point, Maddison was offered but Poch didnt want him, now we see him tearing it up for Leicester, the way we currently have no midfielder doing. How can you then criticize the clubs for not trying to get players in and then letting Poch of the hook?

Before it happens and because its starting to look like doing so, we would appreciate it very much if this thread didn't turn into a debate about who's to blame for our current woes. That's going on in Spurs Chat. In several threads I would imagine.

ITK says we are in for Bowen and Eze both young players.
But will Jose play them in the 1st team if we sign them? or are they one for the future

We’ve made enquires around Max Aaron’s on multiple occasions. Only Man City and Utd made firm offers for him in the summer which he rejected. His heart is set on Chelsea but that doesn’t mean he can’t end up elsewhere.

Would Bowen be described as a Maddison? No. Bowen’s in the right place at the right time and/or is in acres of space with all the time in the world to line up a shot and shoot. It’s admirable what he’s done in the championship but unless you’re additional gifts then you’re going to struggle in the EPL as those extra yards of space just don’t exist. Eze for me all day long over Bowen.

Like he’s got much chance of going to Chelsea when their club captain is their RB AND they have also got the very exciting James.
