Two good omens and reasons for optimism I believe. Firstly, we’re getting good transfer vibes after the season ticket renewal deadline. Secondly, I paid mine using real cash upfront. If you need convincing the Club’s minted there’s your evidence right there.

I agree, but its just the fact that this summer it feels like Levy has no other choice but to spend or there will be a repeat of the 2011 Tottenham riots for real.

I want to believe too - still hurting from building up last summer. Amazing if the two are Lo Celso and Ndombele

The two "exceptional" signings have to be N'Dombele and Lo Celso, right? Bale couldn't be done and dusted this early. If Bale happens, I'm guessing it will be because Levy has strung Madrid out and negotiated a great deal because Madrid had no other options.

N'Dombele and Lo Celso would be a statement indeed and would drastically upgrade the weakest part of the team last year.

Herc also seemed to say that Eriksen (in the Eriksen thread) staying isn't totally out of the question and we could do these two and CE if all things worked out perfectly. That would be amazing.

I agree. Personally I think that if we did get Bale, I don't actually think his transfer fee would be that big. His contract maybe, but not the initial fee.

I'm not for a second doubting his credibility, but Herc posted almost the exact same ITK this time last Summer. So I'm exercising my right to be cautious!

I'm not saying we won't spend but I don't think Levy gives a monkeys about that

Interesting new ITK. Can't help but think paying off the stadium will surely dent transfer funds for the next few years though? I do remember reading that we signed an excellent deal with the banks which would mean transfer funds wouldn't be effected - but can't recall the details of it.

I'm holding on to hope of that, coupled with the fact that I very much doubt Herc would make such a bold statement two years running without being incredibly confident of the outcome.

If the signings we want do happen. And we continue to flourish we are literally going to leave the silly goonies in our dust. I’ve waited a long time for this. But I’m also a long time spurs supporter. So I also take a large pinch of salt in my tea

The ITK is surprising. I can see us getting Lo Celso, but I would be properly gobsmacked if we managed to get Ndombele.

I just don’t see it - too good, too sought after, too much competition
