I've a vision of Levy sitting on a Bahamian beach scrolling through his phone looking at SC (cos that's what he does) thinking: 'HaHa! Stupid fuckers, I've got 2 weeks here in the sun before I do anything at all...'
Meanwhile, Andre is skiing in the Alps, Tim Sherwood is propping up the bar in some East end dive & Joe Lewis is having dinner at the White House. It'll be like Ocean's 11 when they get serious.

Not ITK bashing at all (and I know most posts that start with that usually continue to bash the hell out of ITK, but hear me out), isn't it fantastically ironic that for the first time in as long as I remember, we get someone suggesting we will have a busy day of ITK, and it is followed by 2 of the quietest days in SC ITK's history

Of course it was only an opinion of his, but it is rather funny!

Oh well, onwards we go - I'll still be refreshing this thread every 3 1/2 minutes tomorrow!

No ITK isn't too bad when the last glut we had was all quite positive. JJ seemed confident on Leandro, POTL implied Bale will stay and said we had been talking to Villa for months, and there were a couple of other good bits aswell. I'd rather have nothing to read, then those guys all telling us that every deal has gone down the toilet, Bale is going, we're resigning Crouch and want to bring in Juande Ramos because AVB is off to Madrid.

It's not that surprising, he said that things would kick off on Monday and our ITK is presumably several days behind whats going on in the boardroom. If we've really kicked it up a notch yesterday, we should start hearing things by Thursday or Friday I bet.

Any chance that for someone like Villa, Levy is also happy to wait till after the Confederations Cup to seal any deal. Wouldn't want to buy the bloke for 8 - 10m and then he gets injured.

So perhaps Villa isn't the only one to want to wait. I guess Levy could be doing the same for any targets on international duty. Would mean Damiao drags out until July though too

1. the window hasn't opened
2. Villa is playing Confederations Cup & decides after
3. Ditto Damaio probably, if he's hedging his bets.
4. Players like Tom Ince are off to U21 Euros
5. Loads of football people probably are on holiday
6. Our DOF situation is still unresolved
7. Contracts are still running down til July 1st, replacements won't be on payroll til then
8. We always take forever to confirm we're doing anything.

So, yeah, it's bloody boring
