we have a player called Nauhgton? Is he any good?

I simply copy and pasted the list from an above post in order to express my dismay that none would be sold according to ITK

I'd say that it is journalism at a guess. If they wanted to get "The Story" with facts, then they would have included the surprising names. Then it would have been believable as a piece with substance. Instead, you or I could have written it

I'm not at all doubting that the journalist has not inside info and was just throwing at a list of likely/obvious departures in order to appear ITK so to speak.

What seems surprising to me was that the story was dismissed as "all wrong" rather than pure guess work, because that suggests that none of those players are to be sold and we are looking to keep Bentley and Jenas (which amazes me)

I could be making it all up, I usually like to, but I'm sure I saw recently that there were perhaps to be some dissapointing departures? I pray to the heavens it isn't VdV or Disco Benjamin. That would be crushing, both for the team and, more importantly to myself and my already fragile morale. Very much hoping for some posititive news in the coming days. Well, more hours really...

It's starting to look like the 4 main transfer targets are:

Leandro, Ade, Dembele and Lloris

I can see why if all 4 of those came off then JJ would be excited. Gonna be tough though!

The targets have not changed.

Some people need to eat some humble pie, especially if we resign Saha

I think there's some debate as to whether 'yellow' was always Leandro (bap bap americano springs to mind) but I think it's fairly clear that's what it means this time.

Of course we pretty much all know already that we're interested in those two so it's not exactly groundbreaking stuff unless POTL is saying we've signed them both (which I don't think he is).

AVB said Gomes and VDV were injured . but would both feature against valencia....

He confirmed blue to be Ade and yellow to be Leandro, so I guess he is just trying to be "funny" as we have the same targets as last year. Not really cryptic.

I still firmly believe we will have Modric or Moutinho in the team also. 1 or other, and have not given up on Modric yet - not that I necessarily want him and feel we could do with a shake up in CM.
