Fernandes would be great but only if we get one of Lo Celso or Dybala. Worst case scenario Eriksen stays. Whatever happens we need 2 of Fernandes, Lo Celso, Dybala, Eriksen come the end of the window. Coutinho could well have decided to stay at Barca so lets not get our hopes too high that it's our decision.

Most of the members would've snapped Levy's hand off if he offered us BF and Lo Celso 48 hours ago, now we are all disappointed at the prospect of signing BF because we can't get Coutinho and or potentially Dybala?

Some of you really need to get out more or find a hobby, that mindset is just ridiculous.

I'd take BF and GLC any day of the week, if we get anyone else in it's just gravy on the Sunday roast.

It looks than our plan B is a very good midfielder, worth 70m and wanted by the best clubs itw. It's not even the most important signing of summer or even Deadline Day (Dybala). Can't imagine how people thinks that is disappointing.

Always thought that it would be either GLC or Fernandes (Similar deeper playmakers) and Dybala or PC. No PC means only one thing... no stop, cant do it to myself yet

Poch is clearly a manager who knows what he wants, and won't settle for less, so to be honest even if BF was plan Z and Poch was happy enough with him to sign off on the deal then we have nothing to be disappointed about.

Even though there has been absolutely no mention of BF being a plan B, all that was said was that he was the least likely. How people managed to turn that into him being plan B I will never know or understand.

I'm pretty sure Poch knows what's best for our club and team more than any of us do, it's his job.

Assume Lo Celso and Coutinho deals have failed to progress so we've changed focus to Fernandes.

Still have to get one in with him though (hopefully Dybala) as it's otherwise a huge downgrade on Eriksen.

While I agree we need another, right now I'd say a motivated, ready to work hard BF is an upgrade over a sulking CE who seems to have lost his way mentally.

It's only a downgrade if Eriksen is sold. If we can't get one other in we can't allow Eriksen to leave.

Still think Lo Celso will happen especially now they are considering the offer on the table, BF is a backup option IMO. Hopefully PD image rights are not as tough as people are saying

Hope Coutinho being off doesn't mean that our incomings in AM reduce from 2 to 1. He was obviously the 'cheap' option, given it was just a loan and as many have suggested a possible contingency for if Eriksen left after the English window shut.

If BF signs in, it is not because we failed on GLC. If that happens, which seems likely, will reveal after the window.
