Zulu? Perhaps Sulu? Turkish CB - been playing out of his socks for the last couple of seasons in the Bundesliga.

Poch is no mug. He will look at the players in training but will still remember what they were like last year. Only a blind man would not have seen the catastrophe that is Danny Rose.
It is very disturbing to see Liverpool buying all these new players but hopefully some will turn out to be duffers. They will lose Suarez and other players will be displaced by new arrivals. It would be great if their team, which was brilliant at the end of last season, is actually destabilised and ends up weaker. COYS.

IMO, Poch will be evaluating how the players adjust to the way he wants the team to play. Last season was a disaster, with nobody playing to any sort of system, but now, he should be able to see how the likes of Soldado etc., actually stand up to the fast, closing down method he normally tries to use. Some will, some won't I suppose.

In other news, I have a good feeling about ITK this week. Just a shame that Trix ITK was almost spot on, just that he's throwing the dummy out for Liverpool and not us

Poch will not want to be seen to be coming in and giving people no chance - he'll give off the idea that he is evaluating them, but he's not stupid. He'll know our weaknesses from playing against us last season

Players always want to feel they've had a chance to prove themselves - so he's givin them that impression

I think it's naive to think that the manager is waiting to assess the whole squad before discussing/initiating any signings. ITK on here, backed up with photos, had Poch and Baldini meeting in Barcelona. Target was Moreno? so that weakness had already been identified and acted on. I hope wheels are already in motion and some deals are done or very nearly done. Fingers crossed. Anyhoo looking forward to seeing what we get out of Lamela.

So, he's deceitful, scheming, unwilling to give people a chance, inflexible in his thinking.....

Why not? As far as I'm concerned everyone should get a clean slate under the new manager and its up to them, and to be honest I'd rather training was used as an indication of performance. If we have certain players doing well in training everyday, out-performing others and showing a good attitude I would rather they got a shot than people who went through the motions during the week thinking they can just turn it on (but usually don't) come matchday.

I like the clean slate idea bc it's only fair to have a new chance under the new manager but I disagree with the training indication. The amount of times I read "went to watch tottenham train today and Soldado was banging them in" and Spurs official tweeting about "Soldado's stunners" ect clearly wasn't shown on the pitch. Training doesn't always tell the full story as there's less pressure, playing with people you know and it's more chilled. We all know how good RS9 is but the fact he scores so many in training and 6 in the PL shows that there is a difference

Have we been linked with any right backs other than aurier! I saw a tweet from JJ saying we were looking to replace/provide competition in all 4 defensive positions.

I know he can be susceptible defensively but I love Walker. Young, physically gifted, threat going foward. I also think his defensive flaws aren't too much of a problem bc he usually gets away with it with the pace advantage

The parking attendant up our local town centre stopped me today when I parked in a disabled parking bay

"You look fine to me mate what's your disability?" He asked

"Tourettes you fat **** bastarding ****, now fuck off, you ****" I replied

Can't be arsed, busy. Putting a new patio area down in the garden. Laters.
Best get on with it mate, won't take long for the body to start smelling unless you get that concrete poured chop chop!

In response to JJ's "what if Rose stays!?" (iirc) that had many on here reaching for their razors and pills, I've just put a rant on the Danny Rose page.
Any feedback/criticism is welcome, and as a personal favor (you owe me none) can we take the Danny Rose chat to that thread, as it gets a bit spammy on here with terrible player v he's young argument

and end up like Spurs 2013-14 - clueless!

Not the thread for it but couldn't resist. They're hardly clueless. Lallana, Markovic, Sanchez (possibly), Origi and Lambert. Some quality players and what they're doing is getting them early, we left 3 of ours until 30th/31st of August. They also have a manager who can take them places. I hate Liverpool but they are a force and like it or not are in a better position than us[/quote]clueless as in our team was with all those additions
