The first is the official pronunciation.

The second is the pronunciation when spoken in Pleatish.

This may not be the place for it, but did we ever establish who the RB target was mentioned over the winter who was touted as being a clear and outstanding identified buy? I assume its not Djed Spence but if it is that would be great from an acquisition perspective.

In all seriousness, cracking ITK. The last time we got such an ITK for a forward, it ended up being Carlos Vinicius. Fingers crossed its someone really good this time.

Funny story-ish.... I actually heard about Vinicius very early on, posted it back of house and no one had heard anything about him or even had a clue who he was, so it never made it to the forum. The reason for this was it was given to me by an agent who had a player in Portugal and had heard it from CV's agent himself over a few drinks. He was like "there's this player Spurs are after Alvin something......... no that's it Alves Morais". A little while later he said "oh btw that player I was on about Vinicius is looking very likely. After a bit of back on forth turns out his full name is Carlos Vinicius Alves Morais, so I post this again back of house and JJ chips in with Oh yeah been looking at him for a while....... I Anyhoo turns out you missed out on about 2 months of worrying about whether or not we were going to sign a player none of you had ever heard of.

I know it's not exactly current ITK but it does show how these things sometimes take a lot longer than they look to come off even when we've laid the ground work ages before.

Quite simply mate, there are things we are all told and explicitly asked not to share around and tell anyone. Trust me when I say we are all Spurs fans and enjoy hearing the latest ITK for the first time no matter how high up it has come from, and the most important part about being kept in the loop in order to keep hearing what's going on, is if your man tells you not to tell anyone.... Well you bloody well don't!!!

Great appointment this, he’s been bringing some top players in at Rangers (sadly) while working with limited budgets.

Hopefully means we can move on some of the young talent in the SPL just now. Some very good players coming through in key positions for us.

Some of the info I am given could seriously compromise my relationships with people if names get out. That's why I am sparing with it. I get passed quite a lot of stuff, it's not always Spurs related but sometimes the stars align and the people I get my info from hear stuff right from the horse's mouth. My contact had spoken to Andy Scoulding last Friday, I spoke to my contact on the Saturday. That's how close it is.

It was a similar scenario with Kounde last year: the info was coming from an impeccable source. Same with Rangnick and the same with previous info I passed on about SMS (I haven't asked this time around).
