Actually the circumstances have changed a little. City, United, Pool and Chelsea are all desperate for a striker and stupid enough to offer £10milliom above true value.

Quick deal or No deal Peace!
If it's going to happen, it does need to happen quickly. I can't see City, Chelsea or Utd going for him when either a title or top 4 finish is hanging in the balance. With their money, I can see them going elsewhere. But Liverpool are fairly dumb when it comes to overspending so they could conceivably outbid us for him.

City or Chelsea might go for him since he is HG, but they are fine in attack for the most part. Utd will be busy going after any top top attacker you can think of through the media for 3 weeks then stop fucking about and go after Berahino in the dying days when they realize they've fucked themselves for everyone else by playing their silly media games on Mueller, Bale, Ronaldo, Neymar, etc. So i'd reckon we have a good 3 weeks to get something done if we still want to.

Certainly was surprised to read paper reports about Andros to Sunderland. Struggling team with a very high chance of Championship football next year.

Suspect he still holds out a hope of making the Euros although not really sure how a loan deal benefits anyone.

I really dont think Chelsea are "fine" in attack. Apart from Costa they only have forwards who are not trusted by the management.

Irrelevant what everyone else wants, what does Berahino want, that's all that matters, where does he want to play?

Actually it is completely relevent because it also matters who offers what Peace finds acceptable.

Peace is over a barrel. He can't keep him and can't hold out for what he wants, he can't afford o keep a player who isn';t going to try and who isn't going to sign a contract to allow his value to reduce even further by the summer. Berahino decides where he wants to play regardless of who offers what. My guess is he wants to come to us and his histrionics are because that is being prevented.

I'm not sure why people are saying they want a player who is happy being backup. I want us to sign a player who believes they can start and will challenge Kane for his spot!

Absolutely bang on.

Why settle for a player who is just happy being a back up and not ready yet. The second Kane gets injured/suspended/loses form the "back
up" is no longer the back up. Competition for places makes players better, including Kane. Which is a win/win for us.

We are talking about us being top four contenders and an outside bet for the title. If we want to talk about us in terms of a successful club then we need to act like one.
