Because Doherty isn't good enough and noone has shown an interest as of yet, Aurier will be seemingly going and if not only has 1 year left and Tanganga will rotate with the new RB and fill in at CB.

That’s part of today’s fun, we’re going to find out Nuno is in fact Gareth Southgate wearing a Nuno mask.

Because in the current market it's far easier to buy players than it is to sell. It's not like we are asking for ott fee's either, which we have been guilty of in the past. The main problem is wages and there are many many continental clubs that right now can't afford to pay our deadwood what they are being paid here. This is not just us. The whole of the Premier League are having this issue right now, players are very reluctant to leave for far less money.

That said fingers crossed things move somewhat today, when the panic sets in. Emerson I was told this morning everything agreed and it's just medical, signature and formalities. Also if we can get any out we will be trying to bring players in.

Traore not totally dead but seems complicated. I don't blame Wolves for their stance one bit.

15 hours to go, with how Fab lays ground work in advance I'd say anything is still possible.

I think the timing of Emerson's announcement depends on Aurier or Doherty finding a move.

For once the club are actually buying a player despite not being able to shift the deadwood. That's usually one of the biggest complaints on here.

Thank you A&C and everyone for another action packed Transfer window and of course for all the ITK that has been passed over.

Polite reminder, if it ends up pair shaped like almost every other transfer window, it's not the ITK's fault. They pass on info in good faith and passing on what they have heard. It makes the transfer much more interesting when they do pass things over, even though for multiple reasons it doesn't all plan out like we hope. So hold fire on pointing any later frustrating in their direction.

I haven't donated as yet this time, but will do so later.

just caught up with last nights discussion in the itk thread, and robs is dead right stating that we have had pretty consistent itk that we wanted 3-4/5 signings in not including sarr, we have what, 15 hours? no way we get that amount through the door now. Emerson will get done so that's one, and probably think that will be it.

butttttt, with FP being know to love a last minute deal as much as levy, i'll still hold a glimmer of hope until we heard "we're done" from ally/itk.

Traore not totally dead but seems complicated. I don't blame Wolves for their stance one bit.

I don't blame them either.

I think without Traore, the window is definitely a success - some good young players in and some that will challenge for the first team now

Getting Traore in would make it an excellent window

We still haven't replaced Bale or Vinicius so I can't see any reason why we shouldn't be able to bring in a couple more players without moving anyone in, in theory at least.
