Well be prepared to feel like we were fed horseshit as they sign a few players and they either A. improve on what they have or B. Provide solid depth so when they make a sub/rotate it doesn't lower the quality of the 11 substantially. Something I heard wasn't doable a few years ago.
Yes, it all seems very convenient.

Not neccessarily. Lets be honest, it's inevitable at some point.
Not if we’d actually build around him and actually bought another centre forward.

Although Kane himself also hasn’t been pulling up trees in recent times so maybe needs to look at himself as well.

I would still expect him to look for a move to Spain.

Kane is at the age where a player takes stock and thinks about his career. With his next contract taking him into his thirties he is confronted with his footballing mortality, it was the same with Eriksen, if all is going well and he has silverwhere on his shelves or the prospect of putting some there he'd be likely to stay but if, as seems the case, he is looking at starting again, a new project, then the pull away is bound to be strong. With Harry Kane it's a wrench for him and for us and he wouldn't take that decision lightly not as lightly as others but ultimately he will make that decision if it looks right for him and we just have to accept it. Bloody shame though.

A few points

1- We are no longer for sale and have not been since the palace home game last March so that is not a current option

2- Joe controls what happens with the club not DL , DL loves running the club he would never sell but its not his call

3- Levy is now under intense pressure from all quarters, Even before the Norwich game Joe thought both the results and performances Jose was delivering in relation to the obscene contract he was given were hugely disapointing, levy defense that Jose is a winner do not look to clever now after the last week , I do not know to many directors who would survive the debacle of having to pay 60 million managerial compensation to two high profile managers whilst overseeing a playing squad with little balance or quality , levy is far from untouchable, Spurs are big business now a 2 billion asset with 500 million turnover, levy future very much rest in the hands of Jose being able to turn around

4- Levy not for the first time was badly hoodwinked by Jose with what a wonderful squad you have etc , Jose predictably now changed his tune, pre Norwich Jose wanted 8 new players in the summer and the guy from Lyon as new DOF , I presume after Norwich and last night Jose will want even more player

and

if I gave you a list of players that wanted to join and levy messed up the deals you would sob, he did amazing with the stadium to get the nfl , banks and authorities on board but one swallow does not make a summer he has been a dreadful chairman, Poch the messiah covered his shortcomings for 5 years but that ship has sailed.

and

Lewis now watches every games and finds Jose's tactics and football eye bleeding

and (looks more opinion but still interesting.

I never wanted him but after poch threw in the towel after yet another summer of levy shambles ( this years deal f55k ups were coutino and Dybala ) and with scum closing in on Jose levy felt they had to act and Jose duly pulled levy pants down

They need to decide whether to stick or twist after the wham game , unless they are going too back him and bring the Lyon guy in there is no point , Jose did not want a striker in jan as he had a player in mind for the summer , Jose did this at united where they got him everything he wanted and he was still useless

There is no point crying over spilt milk we need to boot Jose and pay him off , we are miles from a cl team right now, we need to bring sess, parrot, cirkin and tanganga through and try and attract some bright talent in the summer and rebuild with a modern young coach, Jose is way way past it

Thank you for sharing @Archibald&Crooks . He’s gone both barrels there, a lot of that I can see being true but equally I think a lot of it is over the top. We’d have not have made the strides we’ve made if Levy was quite as useless as Dragon describes, we weren’t exactly in the dregs pre Pochettino.

If Levy screwed over botch Pochettino and Mourinho what's the point of hiring new moder young coach, same shit will happen again. Modern young coaches will still ask for other signings, you can't just use academy players and if they don't get supported they will leave or stop caring and get sacked. I doubt that Levy is in hot seat honestly and Lewis had plenty of opportunities to unleash the wallet if he cared so much, appreciate the info though.

That was post was good news?

Joe has awoken at last from his tomb and is holding people accountable and if that information is true then we as fans will win either way. Either Jose is going to end up being backed and he and Levy together have to turn it around and we win or Jose and therefore Levy fail and we are in for a gigantic shake up. Either way sooner rather than later if this information is true then we win.

If I remember correctly, Poch wasn't Levy's choice. It was Lewis who wanted him after his South American business associates told him about Poch.

For me, its not at all that he's useless. Its how short he comes when the playing side needs him to step up. You don't think the extra 13 mil for the image rights on Dybala might have been a worthwhile investment? Grealish? I'm sure the list goes on and on. Our lack of investment is going to cost us millions now. Jose, to no one's surprise, is surely asking for massive investment and I don't see any way this ends well.

There's very little choice other than to back Jose because if you don't back him then it's a huge admittance of failure for Levy. If he chose to let Jose go and move in another direction then that is a massive gamble again and looks like he didn't know what he was doing in the first place hiring him and if that 3rd manager didn't succeed then there's nowhere to hide really.

Great read but I'm with Rob on the pinch of salt. Clearly heavily skewed by bias against Levy, and I'm no BsoDL.

I'd love old Joe to become a sugar daddy to the club but IMO that is just as pie in the sky as those hoping for some outside benefactor to come and buy us and carry us to glory. Lewis would rather add to his art collection that plough any wealth into Spurs, it's obvious.

Pressure for Levy/Jose to deliver on the pitch can only be a good thing if true however.
