Agree and Inter need to sell now apparently since they have no CL and the league in brazil doesnt really start for a while as they will be playing sunday league football(state championship)

So reason they need to sell:
Inter didnt get much money from Oscar deal
Inter have a high wage bill apparently
Inter have no CL football this season
Since Inter have no CL their competitive season doesnt start for a couple of months(since they are playing state championship first)
He wouldnt move after the summer as he cant risk not playing, since he wants to be the starting Brazil team for WC

Reasons why we wont sign:
They wants silly money
We dont like to pay silly money

Some superb work by our server hosts. Only issue is that it kicked some peopel off as we had to change the DNS settings and it can take a little while for them to update from your ISP. I reckon about half the people are back on now with the rest to follow soon.

I wonder if people here realize that Adebayor will likely be gone until at least February 12th or so, as Togo have a comfortable fixture against Burkino Faso this weekend. That guarantees them a place in the 3rd place game the following weekend.

That means an injured Defoe who has 1 goal in his last 9 games on 37 shots will be our only forward option against West Brom and Newcastle, two teams that give us problems traditionally.

I think our only hope at a top 4 finish is Adebayor coming back and playing at an elite level. First, that's going to take AVB dropping Defoe and playing a Holtby/Adebayor combo. Secondly, Adebayor needs to actual start scoring goals. It's a stretch, quite frankly, given his form and injury history recently.

I think a 5th-7th place finish isn't completely unreasonable given the above, combined with Arsenal having an easier fixture list than us.
