Thanks for the update Trix...
Daniel struggling to pull the trigger shouldn’t come as a huge surprise. Perhaps he just needs some encouragement!
Let’s all email Levy... He reads them all apparently.:sneaky:
Levy hasn’t read my email yet... work shy twat.

I actually think if she was here under ENIC, we would do better than with Donna Cullen-lick arse

Exactly the impression I get of her. Just a yes woman, going along with whatever Levy says and quite happy to go on massaging his ego. Our structure just seems so outdated. As well as that, question whether those at board level/senior positions genuinely have the ability to operate in the realms of modern day football. No doubt in my mind that Levy is far too thinly spread at the very least.

This has taken a nasty turn. ?. Some of the points about an outdated structure are spot on. Some of the other abuse....less so.

Yeah it’s all very unseemly imo. I can understand people being frustrated but it’s all a bit over the top in here today.

First post in the ITK thread - never want to risk going off topic and getting a ban ? but seeing how the thread is going today - I will take my chance!

I will keep this short and sweet - We are at a cross roads right now, we either back Mourinho with his targets or we are going to fall away from the top 6, yes top 6. Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd are ahead of us IMO in terms of first 11 - Arsenal are on the up, Everton have invested heavily over the last few seasons and with Ancellotti in charge they will be pushing hard, also add to this there is always a surpises package every season - we are in a real fight just to make top 6 as it stands.

I have always been semi-pro Levy as there are a lot of positives that he has done - not going to list them all but even the most anti levy supporter will agree he has done some good. However my patience with the transfer window over the last few seasons has worn thin - Levy is a business man and unfortunetly if he doesnt invest more funds this window and bring in what we require - we will miss out top 4 and the money it brings, potentially Europa League etc the valuable assetts in the playing side such as Kane, Son etc wont want to be at a club in decline and thus for me this window is going to be the defining moment of what direction the club is going to go in.

Do I belive Bale alone will solve the problem? No - but it would deliver a big statement of intent - just seeing Bale come into the changing the room will give all players a lift - thats why if there is any chance of signing him we do it. But we dont stop there - we buy a striker that will compete with Kane - not a Deeney not a Wilson but someone who can play with Kane or play in matches when Kane isn't available - someone who will actually create a buzz. Two players doesnt solve every problem we have right now, however the players need some form of lift and see the club actually trying to improve not just off the pitch.

That is a total assumption made by the AST that it is an interest payable loan to KSE, no details have been announced about it, and to then say it is still stadium debt and it has now increased by £40m is with respect, totally laughable
So let's get this right, if ENIC invested or loaned monies to Tottenham that would be seen as they pumping money into the club, but because it is the Arsenal equivalent of ENIC (KSE) and they have used the monies to pay off the stadium it somehow doesn't count as investment.
OK then.

I have no idea about AST. Couldn’t give a monkey’s about them. The point is that Arsenal themselves describe what you call “clearing the stadium debt” as “refinancing the stadium debt”. There is a massive difference between the two, as you well know.

I think most of it has been relatively civilised.
Proper meltdowns of yesteryear would have been 100 pages deep

Needless, over the top abuse being spouted at Donna in here. Her job is to put a positive spin on Levy's abundance of failures to get fans back on side. She's not a transfer person. None of this is her fault exactly.

By the sounds of it, this will be a very important 20 days for the club. A period that will define our immediate future, methinks. With Levy at the helm, steering the ship toward whatever destination he has in mind. Either that will be off the edge of the world, or to somewhere special.

Unfortunately, most who have supported Spurs throughout the ENIC period know all too well, that there's at best a 5% chance Levy gets this right. History tells us that it's very unlikely this window will end with all the players Jose has requested.

Don't get me wrong. I would like nothing more than to be incorrect in this summation. But if past is predicate, i'm weary of another transitional season that will very likely end with another managerial change, and a tectonic shift in the squad, with the likes of Harry flying the nest.

If there was ever a time that Levy needs to consider throwing some degree of caution to the wind, then this is it. He has to know we can't afford to stand still with what we have. It won't get us into the top 4 or win us a trophy. It will require risk taking. And we know Danny boy is none to fond of that. That said... will this tiger change his stripes? At least just this once? It's nice to dream.
