Actually Falcao had two hands together as if it was a 'praying' gesture. He was using the Emoji keyboard which is an iPhone app I think.

Seems to me that he's fully aware that it's a long, long, long...... shot

Just in from The Goat in an attempt to at least make some sort of effort to be on topic: Heavy showers and rain in the south slowly clearing, although perhaps taking until late evening to clear from the far southeast. Elsewhere, sunny intervals and scattered, perhaps locally heavy showers. ;)

So just wet then...again.

He was and it is.

This isn't ITK from him in my opinion, it is a wish list. Falcao is not gonna happen.

It will be interesting to see if Levy and Aulas can agree a fee for Lloris, especially as Aulas seems to be imposing a time table on the deal

Falcao would cost 40mil plus and altho he would be a good player for us there wouldn't be a sell on value for him should he stay 3 seasons for example. Our focus should be on other players imo. Plus we would never get him anyway so doesnt really matter.

As we're talking about weather, it's a beautiful morning in Dublin!!

One piece of ITK I'd love to hear is what the players thought of the first week back training. I assume they've all met AVB "one on one" by now and have seen some of his training methods. I know it's early days and there is a lot of physical stuff in the first couple of weeks but they must have some sort of "feel" for him by now.

Are they impressed?

After a day off from ITK internet in general yesterday, I'm hoping for a feast of activity to get me through todays hangover. Adebayor would be a start. Some investment news would be good. News from JJ on another signing would be great. Lloris, Moutinho or even confirmation Modric is gone would make today interesting.

Benny tweeted something semi-comedic/semi positive LOL
Kaboul made positive noises IIRC
Someone said there was quite a lot of ball work being done.

TBF nobody's gonna break ranks at this stage, but all the hearsay seems positive at the moment

Not full on wet, just a little bit moist at the prospect. Thats her about Falcao though. :(

Anyway on the wet subject, I hope Hyde Park will not resemble The Somme later. Bruce is calling.

ooh you jammy bugger ref Bruce..... having said that he plays such a long gig that you measure it using a calendar rather than a clock.. Saw him at manchester and he started in spring and the final encore was in autumn....(Course in manchester that means rain throughout but you get my point)

I got something yesterday which you might find interesting. I didn't 'Goat' it because it isn't really transfer related and i've had to leave the names/details out to protect the source but here it is.......

Gist of the conversation from ************ was that AVB is not as arrogant as the media say - the players enjoyed training and AVB has 'good banter' and was joking around with the players and taking the piss. Said that he doesn't have the same seige mentality he developed at Chelsea as it isn't needed and that ************* is really excited to work with him.

On reflection I may as well use the Goat.

The Boss? Saw him at Glastonbury a couple of years back and I have to say I was disappointed. Just played his entire new album and maybe 3 songs that people knew. Kept talking about building a house as well...
