Surely there has to be some sort of ITK today with it being first day of training and all

if the players are already out of training and texting their associates by 12.25 on the first day back, they're not being worked hard enough... Surely we'll hear nothing until this evening?

I'm not saying we should buy Ba cos we shouldn't - but people need to some fact finding before hammering the bloke. Scored something like 1 in 2 for West Ham in their run in when they got relegated. Then went to Newcastle and scored effectively 1 in 2 for them for 18 months, despite playing right wing for them for a substantial part of the time. And done okay at Chelsea with limited opportunity.

I suppose there is a good chance Nacer Chadli was invited, and a very good chance he is friends with Benteke. A very good possibility that Benteke was meeting him then driving him to the centre. With there also being a chance that once at the gates, security might of not recognised Benteke, but knew of Chaldi's visit.

Once in I'm sure they wouldn't be expect him to be sent back to his car and wait around, that would be just bad manners!

I will hope any ITK on Demba Ba is off the mark. A decent player, but he will eventually blow that knee, which is why we've been scared off him before. And let's be honest, our track record indicates that we would be the club where that would end up happening. Sadly (god I miss Ledely )

I hope it wasn't JJ that said it. I will it add it to the RO if somebody can point me to it. Couldn't find it on first perusal.

It's not there, we're all being ****s by discussing it.

I would say there is zero chance of us signing Ba. We had a chance of signing him for free, and chose not to because of his knee. We aren't going to pay money for him when he still has a dodgy knee.

While I think Benteke looks a great prospect, but I think he has to repeat last seasons form next season before he can be considered worth the money it would take to prize him away from Villa.

Think it is fair to say all will be quiet today due to the Kit launch, after that I am assuming it will be all hands back to the pump for ITK, but I doubt we will hear anything until maybe at best late tonight.

im pretty certain thats not itk bashing as it seems to be a figment of the forums collective imagination.

Not so sure. I'm actually quite hopeful that the kit launch will generate some nice juicy rumours for those attending to be able to report back on.
