Surely we're not buying Bale being injured for over 2 weeks with an injured arse? If we expected him to stay he'd be in the squad.

If Bale is in fact leaving, I surely hope there is more than 1 other signing on the way (for our sakes).

This would be my biggest worry as well. If we sell Bale, replacing him will be impossible so along with the player deemed his replacement, we should be allocating some of that money to filling out the squad to address any left over weakness (LB comes to mind). If we're going to lose Bale, we're going to need to strengthen the entire squad as having him around would allow for us to overlook that. Without him, we need to be as well-rounded as possible.

Did Bale train yesterday and today? AVB said he would be back in training for Wednesday IIRC.

I have no idea who knows what or if any of this ITK info is faithful but I do suspect it is posted in good faith. It's interesting that all day it's been positive about Bale staying but JJ passes the same info that nothing has changed from what he heard yesterday.

The problem with ITK info is we all suspect it is truly just that. Factual inside information and unfortunately that is not always the case. Someone might know a player and another might know the guy who raises the barrier at the training ground but how much inside information can they really know. There must be so many members of staff now at the club and it never used to be like that so I am sure everyone thinks they know something someone else does not.

After what Levy did with Modric and the daily "he is leaving" media I'm surprised Levy has not come out with a statement saying he is staying if he is........well......staying.

On the flip-side as I posted earlier, I'm surprised Levy would sanction all these deals when we know how tight he can be unless Bale was staying and this was all about the push for the coming season.
