What did JJ say about LLM and had someone made up a rumour about Suarez fire shits and giggles?

I took my son to see Team GB v Uruguay at Cardiff last year as part of the Olympics. The entire crowd booed Suarez for the whole game. We both still talk about that, as there should be no place to hide for cheats. I don't like him and don't want him.

How can anyone get behind a man who is probably top 3 CF's in the world but has always acted like a fucking prick? I expect it from average players but to be blessed with talent that not many on this planet have and then to piss away your self-image for no apparent reason? Let alone the cheating, biting and racism he displays he's a disgrace to his parents ffs. The anger I have for him will never go away he could sign and score 30 goals in a season for all I care the man will always be a **** plain and simple. To those that disagree you need to look at your own beliefs and rethink them cause this man will tarnish a hard earned good image for our club. Mark my words

That's a bit extreme, but I agree with your sentiments re: Suarez.

Good player, capable of getting us many goals, but I could never bring myself to accept him as a Spurs player, and would worry about other's impression of our club if we were to sign him knowing what a despicable little man he is.

If the game is about glory, we would not cover ourselves in it if we sign Suarez. We would be condoning ALL of his reprehensible behaviour with a win at all costs style mentality.

So as far as I'm concerned - and I haven't consulted the rest of the Staff on this yet - but anyone doing such things in SC's name shall not have the continuing benefit of reading, posting or using this site.

Whilst I understand the stance of the mods on this, and I am no way advocating made up rumours, especially that originate from this site.

As a one-off experiment, and in the current climate where a lot of crap is being written about our beloved club, I thought what when on last night proved a point. The media spout rubbish, it all pretty much emanates from one source and it all should be taken with a huge dose of salt. Most media outlets are working to their own agenda and can slant one quote or one story in what ever way they wish.

It's wise to remember its only done when its on the Official site and been stamped as such in SC

Before you get all high and fucking mighty, I suggest you actually do some research and see if it was done in SC's name, or just a few people, who happen to be posters on here, deciding to try and see how far the rumour mill scrapes the bottom of the barrel for stories, and how quickly they'll publish something with no basis in fact.

This isn't my first transfer dance; and yes, it does come back to us.

And yes, I will get high and mighty. We've all spent a ridiculous number of hours trying to get a format for you lot not to bicker about, attract people that have information and can rely on a solid "brand" of Spurs fan site.

As is the case with most things that a person is not involved in, you don't know the full story. So, let's just cut out this sort of behaviour. Fair enough? I think so.

This was also the sort of "experiment" along the lines of "let's test whether dipping this piece of wood in water will make it wet".

Made up rumour of Suarez to spurs gets picked up.
Agent gets wind.
Contacts Spurs "why don't I know about your interest, you mugs cutting me out?"
Spurs are like, we don't know what you are talking about - we don't have the 60m Liverpool want anyway so it's a non issue.
Agent: oh ok. well it's actually 45m, and I know Liverpool were looking at Caulker and Dempsey, thanks for setting the record straight.
Spurs: players plus cash you say?...interesting

4 weeks later, Spurs sign Suarez.

Ridiculous to suggest a cull on the basis of what was clearly a social experiment. It also provides solace to those whose mood has been seriously affected by whats written in these pathetic newspapers. Modding taken to the extreme in my opinion

You'd assume talks were going on beforehand, in all 3 cases.
