i love the children in here with the "levy played us" comments. Are you serious??? Yes. Thats what levy does in his office. Thinks of ways to scheme and pull the wool over our eyes. He's employed to be a pantomime villan. Jesus. He wants the best for this club. Why? because hes a major shareholder, and represents an even bigger one. So let me explain this simply for the people that still dont understand. THE BETTER SPURS DO AS A CLUB, THE MORE MONEY THEY MAKE. They will NOT make money, if they deliberately asset strip.
Oh and also, the "pantomime villan" has spent millions on sorting out a new stadium, and just built us one of the best training facilities in the country. But you all dont care about that, because jim ****ing white didnt announce it while reading a text message.

There has been plenty of people over the last year moaning about VDV inhibiting the team and Modric didn't pull his finger out last season but we still got fourth and blew third with them so what difference does it make if they are gone now? There is no such thing as a perfect squad there is no such thing as a perfect Transfer Window. This has been a very very good windows by all accounts. All people are moaning about is one player, at the end of the day were not a blank cheque club and if AVB cant handle that he can fuck off too because he might have to actually do a bit of grafting now and realise football is not about one system and one player.

whats all the bullshit about being quite happy??? are you the sort of people that stand there saying it don't matter when people push infront of you, cut the rubbish guys ffs, we sold VdV today and replaced him with Dempsey and only other player that joined was Lloris, so we now have real hole in the middle of the park and 3 gk's on first 11 wages, can't see the positives myself, shambles yet again.

That's it in a nutshell.
The signings we've made weren't bad at all, and as far as Ade, Verts, Dembele and Lloris are concerned I think they're fantastic. However we've sold two of our genuinely world class, creative players, and haven't replaced them at all.
If we've let Hudd go as well then this is a failure of a window in my book. A club like Spurs with a manager like AVB, and Levy sells every single one of our creative players and doesn't replace them. What a massive fuck up and one that will probably wreck this season.

I for one am really fucking happy we have got Dempsey. I have been a fan of his for a long time. I think a lot of the doubters will be pleasantly surprised at the player we have got for an absolute bargain by the sounds of things.

I think we've got a squad capable of playing more than one formation, with Harry if THE formation didn't work he just sat there clueless. So in that sense we have strengthened

POTL was spot on about tonight's events. Clearly we was going to be pleased if Jao came off. But Levy chose to put all his eggs in one basket. Shame when Isco would of been 15 million or so? Open your eyes Daniel.

We signed some very good players, but........ last season we lacked a clinical finisher. Now we lack the same thing, plus the creativity. Because as much as I like Dembele and Sig, they are offensive players, but not creative.
So in terms of squad we made some very good signings, but as a team, we are weaker IMO
