am surprised you can hear anything in a full body double skinned pvc gimp suit added to the fact a&c likes to put things in ears that really shouldn't go in there

I'm sure by this time last year we were talking about Verts, Sig Ade and loris. Well near enough this time last year. It's all very quiet at the moment. ITK's talking about stuff being done early and only LD and Villa making the papers. AVB seems to keep a very tight ship and therefore there may be less ITK this year. I know that might be a good thing for the club in getting deals done but a major cause for frustration for followers of ITK.

AVB wants his squad sorted by first week of July and I think DL will try to oblige. We could well have ITK about players literally hours before they are announced officially this summer.

God and A & C help us all.

Didn't JJetset once say that the newspapers usually get news of a bid about a week after it had actually been made? If so, then perhaps Villa may be a little closer than suggested?

Interesting summer ahead that's for sure, and for some unbetold reason I'm feeling confident!

Last year at this time, I think we were mainly discussing 'Arry, and what would happen to him/the club, and IIRC even the most respected of ITK's were saying that the Harry out rumours had no legs. Shows how quickly things changes, no?

To be fair, I whisper it into almost everyone's ear. Especially when they wrap my old chap in a Pitta Bread with lettuce, sliced onion, tomato and cucumber and give me a 'Kofte' reacharound whilst saying in their best Greek accent 'I want Garlic soss'........Not that the rest of the customers in the Kebab shop enjoy seeing it much...........

What can I say? I'm a slut.

he'll probably try. But how hard? I love the way we do our business, no jokes. It's always ridiculously exciting not being able to access SC without refreshing sixty times during the pre-deadline evening and then waiting til thirty mins after the deadline in case we got the one (that eventually gets away).

Levy has done a fab job in his time steering the good ship SS Spurs and we're progressing at a pleasing, albeit steady, rate of knots - all without spanking a load of cash on players that might backfire (bent? bentley? - Sum's brain).

This summer is gonna be a long one, regardless of "getting it done early". It's all part of being a yiddo.

I'm honestly not sure I need ITK anymore, I come here to read the daily dose of 50 Shades of A&C as much as anything else.

Thought I would advise:

By my calculations the transfer window will shut on the 2nd of September (a Monday) as the 31st August is a sat and is not a working day!!

Therefore:

I have booked the 2nd September off work (10 minutes ago) in preparation of the mayhem that will no doubt take place on here so I have no distractions (other than the kids) and can fully concentrate on reading this forum!!

I advise everyone does the same haha
