I'm not convinced Suarez would agree to join us. We could probably match his wages at Pool but we aren't going to blow them out of the water. We're closer to the top 4 than they are, but without Bale is he likely to see it that way? While CL teams are sniffing around him I don't think we'd get anywhere... if LFC would even sell to us in the first place.

It's good that we're thinking of targets to go after with the money if Bale goes. Just hope it's done soon if it is, give us time to sign them before Palace/end of August.

I know AVB wants a smaller squad but I doubts he wants them eaten. Hudd will slow him down though.
