Watkins is good but he barely plays for England so takes time to find your confidence as a striker. He’s no Kane but he’s a very decent back-up.

My takes:

Dion Dublin is an awful commentator.
Johnstone cannot use his feet and must be fourth choice.
Gallagher should be off the pitch for either one red card or two yellows. That first "challenge" was late and right on the ankle and would go to VAR in the league. Somehow the ref saw it as a foul on Gallagher.
Aside from Dunk, none of our defenders look that good. Tomori certainly looks like he has trouble getting his feet right. TAA is a bad defender and Colwill has been weak.
TAA in midfield however is a good idea and it lets Gallagher combine well with Bowen.
Grealish and Maddison are combining well, but both are slowing the game down at times when we have the impetus, killing all momentum.
