Solid window but what happens to the ‘summer rebuild’ if none of the clubs exercise their options on the loan players? Are we not back to square one?

I’d take Arthur from juve just as an extra body
What if Juve only want a sale or a loan with obligation.

It's alright saying 'get this player' but we have to really really want them and it has to be done in our favour otherwise we just get dumped with more unwanted players on high salaries and then next summer we are in the same situation.

It is but where is a smart 6 month loan to cover up front? I guess at a push Dier can play in the midfield but we only have Scarlett up front to cover Kane.
Conte has said he considers Bergwijn a striker and the player has shown good hold-up play in that role in recent weeks. Son obviously can slot in as a No. 9 who plays off the shoulder. Kulusevski has some experience up front as well. We're out of Europe, Kane is looking fitter than he has done in years, and we've got a few different options to cover for him in case of injury. There are undoubetdly holes in the squad but, unless we truly go through an injury crisis, we've got adequate cover for the next six months IMO.

Definitely expected at least one more signing, given the outgoings, but like the look of the two lads we have brought in. Fingers crossed. ?

My worry exactly. We're going to spend half the summer getting rid of Ndombele and Lo Celso again which will be even more difficult if they go on loan and stink.

We’ve two players for every position, so I don’t think we are that short. I’d have liked to see a striker or wing back come in, but the most important thing was clearing the decks for the summer.

A smallish squad that Conte can focus on could be a real positive. Get everyone on the same page with systems etc.

Don't really agree. Easily possible for two of that five to pick up injuries, we know Bergwijn and Kane are particularly susceptible. Where does it leave the bench?

All Winter I've seen people wanting Dele/Tanguy/GLC out, now when we finally get them out they attack Levy for thinning out the squad - you just can't win with some people. We basically replaced 4 players who won't get used much if at all with 2 who will likely become regular players (unless they totally flop) and we also set the groundwork for our summer Transfer work. Sure the squad looks thin but let's be honest Conte is never gonna use guys who aren't in his plans and those 3 were not in his plans.

Well I have voiced my concerns about Paratici and nothing he has done this window aleviates them. Too much Mendes, too much Juventus, not enough scouting.

Having said that, I am pleased with the outgoings because we are finally backing the manager in the most important way, taking him seriously when he says he needs a player out. Too often we haven't done this.

Despite not being the exciting superstar signings we were hoping for, the two players coming in both actually look suited to the premier league which is good, and both look like grafters which is very good.

The squad is thin, but being out of Europe means we should get away with it, plus these are all fully committed players now.

In many ways Paratici has just kicked the can a bit further down the road and now everything is set up for the summer window, which becomes make or break. There is still time for him to prove me wrong.

Who is the second striker? And second LCB? Asking for a friend?

Conte said we needed more...so we offload 4 of the squad and bring in 2... #Levynomics

Tbf the offloaded players have barely featured (and were not trusted by Conte), whereas the Juve boys probably will play quite a lot. So personally that think we have a stronger squad.
