The best itk from my knowledge was Potl. Every week he'd post the line ups 2-3 hours before they were released to the media ffs. He got far too carried away with the whole blue and yellow thing(both we were interested in) and he was bombed out of posting any more. I knew who his source was and it was impeccable.

As fans we will keep losing genuine itk if people can't accept things for how they are. I've been on other forums and now I only post on here, and I only do that because of the way the site is run.
I can't disagree at all - I loved POTL's snippets back in the day and the whole blue and Yellow was a big blow for him. I even remember seeing a youtube video mocking him, which I thought was distasteful and totally not necessary. A shame we don't hear nowt from him now :(

I can't remember him being bombed out. He was a bit of a prick about other ITK's, ridiculing their stuff and all that............then when he got one horribly wrong, (IIRC he ridiculed some ITK and it was actually accurate) he disappeared because (and i'm guessing here) he knew he'd get or he did get a taste of his own medicine.

He did suffer about over the whole B&Y thing but thankfully, he never posted on here so it wasn't our mess to clean up.

That's how I remember it anyway, but it was a long time ago.
It was the willian thing, he fair enough posted it had been done 100 per cent, when the rumours started about going to Chelsea he got all arsey and defensive and got rude about others starting to question it, then when he signed for them he closed his account
He was bang on but a total prick

Ah yes, just wondering why some posters are complaining about the board not delivering this window despite the window not being closed yet?
Does being dumped out the cup in a semi-final and dropping PL points when 1 point can be the difference in finishing 4th or 5th have anything to do with not making signings early in the window for a change?

New shiny players does not guarantee a result. Especially against Chelsea.

Tbh, mate - you've every right to be cynical, we've trodden this path for a long time, but for me, I'm not expecting anything - I've mentally prepared myself for the potential disappointment, but I'm also waiting till the window closes to cast judgment on whether we backed Conte or not. My gut feeling is we won't be getting any player that is going to rip up trees (that said Traore, looks like he could, literally) and we'll end up with one or two squad players. I guess the bigger hope is that we actually get rid of the likes of TN, GLC, JT, Dele, etc.

Well I'm happy to be more optimistic if it's who Conte wants rather than Levy punts or perceived Levy 'bargains' I want us to targets Conte players to do specific jobs for him.

Biggest concern for me is we seem to be hearing more about outgoings (Ndombele, Dele, Lo Celso, Tanganga, even Gil) and not much in regards to incomings (Traore). We are already so short on options just seems like we are going to further exacerbate that.

To be honest once we get names out the door we will be able to be more flexible regarding the options that will fall into our lap later in the window. Maybe we'll be able to take someone on a loan to buy who's wages we couldn't afford without getting Tanguy off the books for example. Names out is defo a good thing imo.

Not even Tottenham Hotspur would be stupid enough to get rid of 4 players (Dele, Ndombele, Gil and Tanganga) and only bring in 1, right? Right?!?!

I will be very surprised if it’s more than a 1 in 1 out ratio.

If we do however manage to shift a few more then expected, then it could benefit us in the summer.

On the one hand it's promising as selling players is often a bottleneck for us signing players.

Is a bit worrying though as the squad is so light as things are.

But we are mostly short of options because the players don’t perform when they play

It will be almost guaranteed that we'll be shorter in number than when we started the window.

It doesn’t make the squad any lighter though if the players who leave are ones who Conte has decided he won’t pick.

I hear you on squad being light but better to get rid of 4 wasters like them and replace with just 2 players of higher quality. We do have poor players and will continue to even if we get rid of 3 or 4 this window but if we can get 1 or 2 in now of higher quality it means we can cope with starting a few players who are average. Pool do this brilliantly and we need to follow their lead
