i am not saying dont let him train with the current squad but it staggers me how he is gonna take us forward when contes current system ist the 3-4-3 where would he fit in? i hate the mentality of taking players who used to play for us back.the only ex player i would currently take back is walker. we should look forward and not back just because eriksen used to play for us shouldnt be a reason to move for him or might as well bring the whole band back together lets bring jan toby rose and dembele back while we are at it.its the exact reason why i never wanted trippier back

One way to look at it would be - does he offer more than Ndombele and Lo Celso? I would say probably yes. As long as he can safely return and he gives it his all it wouldnt be a bad move for a short term fix.

We are also in for the Belgian 6ft 4 kid from Brugge. Personally hood it advances, and we pull it off.

As do I, I think he's superb. Buy and loan back would be a good move and very exciting (assuming we've got the money left over to actually solve our urgent needs).

Yes!!! When talking to a Villa fan earlier why I didn't want Coutinho I said I want Florian Wirtz, Dani Olmo, Damsgaard or the lad at brugge who's name I can't say or spell

Would be a very useful addition to the squad if we could get him. Seems to be available and at a pretty reasonable price. Could see Conte being a big fan.

We need a new attacking option this month (Adama doesn't count as he'll be RWB).

Surely it’s worth a risk if someone leaves! Or even if they don’t as long as his wages aren’t too high I’d take him.

Surely a rolling 3-month contract at a handsome wage until the summer with the club having the option of converting it to a 2-year contract would be fair to both sides.

Dont be put off by his numbers. I believe he played a lot of last season off the front man from wide but played more as a striker this season and been in a rich vein of form. See few bits on him said he has a brilliant footballing brain.

Think citeh fans were impressed by him in their games.

for me this is a simple situation if we are ambitios we put 40 million for either bissouma or my first choic bruno guimares down if we want to take the cheap easy route we will bring eriksen back for nothing.i am not having it that the january window is difficult if you pay the money you can get anyone newcastle are about to go for diego carlos and botman and are not finished yet.if we offer silly loan offers for quality players we will get laughed at and rightly so
yeah mate think you have all the bases covered there can't see any floored logic at all in any of that statement ?

Eriksen was superb for us but in that final season he dipped dramatically and is not the same player we remember - and this is without the medical issues.

Wish him well but we need to set ourselves up for the future.
Hardly a suprise ,if you found out another team member was helping your wife wash the dishes would your head be straight

He'll be in one of the safest places for someone with his issues.
Really? I reckon he’d be safer being a pundit or almost anything else than competitive football, which has already nearly killed him. Maybe we’d get some late assists against packed defences though. So there’s that.
