Exactly that and with the greatest respect of not wanting to dwell on the subject, it’s worth pointing out he did a hell of a lot of good off the field.I agree absolute winner mentality, plays every game like it’s his last.
Errr no.
You must have missed the last 2 sets of accounts then, the fact our owners have only once put their money in (which they then took back) and that half our deals in the summer were loans. The money isn’t going to appear by magic unless there’s outwards investment or Levy decides to use money he expects to accumulate in the next financial year. It doesn’t work any other way unless you sell players. It’s basic football finance. Where else is the money going to come from?
He'll want one of his other players to replace him to maximise his income. What benefit does an agent get from slowing down a deal. Surely they want it done as they get their commission?
Ah so you want to sign him in time for the NLD? That's going to be another 2m commissionDon't worry, the cut off to sign a player in time for Sunday is tomorrow noon because there's a Friday fixture. Take your your sweet time Mendes.
The next 5 games probably make or break our season.
We need new signings asap.
As things stand looks like a broken season will be achieved once again. The next 5 games probably make or break our season.

Not one Summer does a swallow make.
I rather we have a clear plan and do things properly getting the right players in and out.
If that means losing something from this season in order to be stronger going forward then so be it.
Do you honestly think either Paratici or Conte came here on a sell to buy basis? You must have missed the last 2 sets of accounts then, the fact our owners have only once put their money in (which they then took back) and that half our deals in the summer were loans. No but Levy would promise them the world but give them a wheelie bin.Do you honestly think either Paratici or Conte came here on a sell to buy basis?

How do you know progress hasn't been made? By all accounts a deal is very close with Traore from what we're led to believe.I don't think any of us did but I think we all expected progress to be made by this point of the window. Newcastle and Villa are already closing in on their second signings and neither are likely to stop there.
We have 3 potentially season defining games before deadline day too.
Hopefully things will kick on soon, it's clear there was an important meeting on Monday so that explains the delay a little.
Flaming Nora.. imagine the utter backlash if DL and JL don't pony upMy only hope is come February AC still feels the same
Maybe Jorge is a gooner?Don't worry, the cut off to sign a player in time for Sunday is tomorrow noon because there's a Friday fixture. Take your your sweet time Mendes.
And it would be absolutely warranted too.Flaming Nora.. imagine the utter backlash if DL and JL don't pony up

I don't really care about Newcastle signing Trippier and Wood. Nor Villa signing Coutinho and Digne. (Both of course, cash rich clubs too).
12th Jan. Please be calm.
