I've only seen claims he can't train with Liverpool, can he train with Real Madrid for example? I've seen worse loopholes being abused.

If the ban stands and he stays with Liverpool he will miss:

Southampton
City
Spurs
Villa
West Ham
Everton
West Brom
QPR
Hull

First 6 games are quite difficult, only a bonus for us that he misses those.

Statement says banned from ALL football activity - anywhere... So no, he can't go and train elsewhere either.

So with the news he can be transferred, it means a player that is under a 4 month suspension can be sold to a club that is currently appealing a transfer ban...Interesting!!

Suarez grew up with overbite. Probably got teased for it. Could easily have started biting people for teasing him.

It's from yesterday but this is unbelievably hilarious.

What would they appeal against exactly? The whole world has seen what he did, there's no debate to be had there. Liverpool fans might feel hard done by but they should only be blaming Suarez as he is the one being punished, he just happens to play for them. If he played for anyone else they wouldn't complain about it, in fact they would never have defended him for anything he's done including his racism.

Don't know why Liverpool fans are moaning, they are lucky it wasn't more like should be and even luckier that he really only misses 2 nearly 3 months and not starting from beginning of season.

From RAWK - made me laugh
Why are people talking about him not being able to train?

He's a millionaire employed by a football club, why do you think he'll turn into a world of Warcraft addict and put on 4 stone. He'll fucking train alone at a private location/gym. Use your fucking brains.

They would appeal the harshness of the punishment, but surely that leave them open to getting the ban extended due to a frivolous appeal.

He's banned for 4 months (until late October) and therefore, he can play for Liverpool after then but still won't be able to play Uruguay until 9 international matches have passed.
9 matches past the 4 months or starting now?

He wont be back for liverpool until mid-late november at the earliest. He cannot begin to train with the team until Oct 26.

The La Liga fixtures are released in the 2nd week of July so we'll find out what matches he misses for Madrid/Barca then...

Rathar than appeal it, could Liverpool look at suing Suarez for potential loss of earnings to the club?
They will undoubtedly lose sponsors should they choose to hold onto him until January.
The most horrific part of this is that a club, be it Liverpool, Real, Barca or other, will undoubtedly pay him his astronomical wages throughout this period.

They will pretty much have to do this as it is hard to imagine that any sort of insurance would cover it. Also they probably will have a way of not paying him for those 4 months as this is different from a normal ban.
