They would appeal the harshness of the punishment, but surely that leave them open to getting the ban extended due to a frivolous appeal.

Yeah they should extend the ban if that's the case although it is FIFA so anything could happen.

Haha I can see it now, SSN reports that FIFA have extend Luis Suarez's ban to include a lap dance from Blatter for a frivolous appeal...

Liverpool won't sell him, he's their prize 'always the victim' asset. They'll have the shirts ready, the banners flying over the ground, the whole thing will be turned on it's head and the sympathy flowing from that city towards him will be huge.

LFC will never accept what he did was wrong. 100%, they will never condemn him. They'll call it misguided, unfortunate and say his temperament got the better of him, again. He's probably already had a dozen messages from LFC saying 'We've got your back, la'

IIRC a couple of Sponsors were very unhappy with Liverpool's attitude towards their support for Suarez, so maybe it will be line in the sand time for FSG

Ultimately this is not good for Liverpool. Either they keep him and he misses out on x amount of important PL and CL matches or sell him and I would say that will be at a reduced price as his new team will not be able to use him in that time. Ha!

I just can't stop laughing.

For the second year running, one of the world's top footballers will miss the start of a league campaign due to biting an opponent. :ROFLMAO:
