Brighton for me.

After the humiliation of Bayern, who are quality, I was expecting a massive reaction.

It was actually pathetic.

It was. We were just as bad against Watford for a good 70 minutes too.

Theme developing here...

Everton will be pumped for next week. Absolute 3 points sitting waiting for them to collect providing they show a bit of fight, desire and commitment.

Surely it wouldn’t be a £30 million lump sum?

It would be paid out over the remaining term of his contract.

There must also be a clause where he can’t take another job while he is still being paid by Spurs.

Otherwise, he would need to agree a settlement with Levy.

It basically would never be, but it hasn't stopped people from trotting it out every 5 minutes despite hoards of people correcting the fact.

The remainder of his contract is worth that. We'd only pay that if he didn't work again for the next 4 years, which is incredibly unlikely.

MP was in breach of contract last summer with his repeated pledges that he would leave the club if we won the final. He clearly had his eye on the real or man U manager jobs and was inviting an approach.
So I don't think MP has much of a case to take the whole £32m if he were sacked.

But if Man U want him right now, they'd have to cough up £32m to pay off the contract. It is small change for Utd, but they'd rather send both our clubs into death spirals than cough up.
It is daft, as where MP goes, Kane is likely to follow sooner or later.

Man U won’t want him now. They’re above us in the league and have just picked up a couple of good results.

And our dismal away record. I know they’re in bad form but we are worse. Can see us losing that.

Could we pay it as a lump sum to prevent him working for anyone else for the next 4 years - the limbo of gardening leave? No idea why we would do that, just interested.

If Watford had a striker who could finish, we would’ve been out if sight before we even started to play football

Yep. Thing is, if it happens, it happens. I won’t be impressed but if it does take place or if Poch stays etc, reduce my season ticket considerably. I think I have a good argument too. Paying the highest ticket prices in football to watch the 8th/9th best team in English football doesn’t really seem that fair to me

I would winner this 100 times over if I could

We need to lose to Everton. It's for the greater good. Like those villagers in Hot Fuzz believed in. I mean, it's been a long time since I saw it, but I think I remember everything turning out basically fine for them.
I always thought of Poch as a crusty juggler

I remember Ginola scoring the winner and me just in tears as it meant that fool was in charge for another game!

It could have been one I was at if it was at Goodison. I ended up all over MoTD as I sat behind the corner flag about 4 seats high and the match ended up with a million corners on that side with my face level with corner taker (quite often Ginola).

I mean no disrespect but if you don’t buy a season ticket there will probably be some other fan who will and while the club can still keep selling the tickets there won’t be a price reduce, no matter how bad we get

If the new players need 2 years to be at their best and we're talking about a 5 year project then is it acceptable for me as a Spurs fan to bugger off and come back in maybe 3 and a half years? Is that allowed? Hopefully in March of 2023 we might be ready to win an away game.

Poch in his interviews reminds me of Tony Montana from Scarface behind his desk at the end of the movie. Totally off his rocker and coked up to his eyeballs.

Two defeats or one defeat and a draw in our next two games and Levy has a £60M dilema - sack Poch and pay him off (cost £30M) or keep going with him in the hope that Utd. or RM come in for him and pay us £30M?
I can honestly see Levy sticking with Poch coz he thinks we won't go down and there's a chance Poch will get lured away next summer. In the meantime the fans will turn on both of them and we'll be playing in a half empty stadium.

no - Poch as usual talking shite.

Two years to fully integrate a player - codswallop from the prat.

Can’t believe i’m saying this, but i’m actually worried that we will somehow manage to fluke a win against Everton next week as it would be like using a plaster on a gaping wound.

Did you mean to imply that Levy is just another Mike Ashley?
