But how would that work when saying it? Were off to the "Etihad" to the "Emirates" etc
Were off to the Google?
Google Stadium would be good

Like the Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego or Oracle Park in San Francisco?I doubt tech companies would be willing to spend millions per year on such sports assets. I can't see how it helps Google or Face book or Amazon. They don't need marketing.
These companies are in some sense tax evaders . Example- Amazon getting 129m back as refund instead of paying a dollar of tax in US for last year.Notion that they will spend money for 15+ years on sponsoring stadiums doesnt add up for me
Except for a SAP sponsored San Jose NHL stadium, I dont think we will find any tech company sponsored stadiums.
That's not what it would be like though; as I understood it going off previous talk DL was looking at cornerstone sponsorship, so multiple large sponsors rather than the traditional "name of stadium" sponsor, so it would be the "Champions/Premier league/"Other events" at the "Tottenham Hotspur Stadium" in association with "A,B,C, & X,Y,Z"
So it shouldn't ever lose the "Tottenham Hotspur Stadium" part no matter the event that is held there. This is important to keep our own brand and our team exposure out there.
(I know it'll be the lane etc to a large group)
Things have altered from when that lot up the road did a shirt and naming rights deal, that tends to not be the way of things now, hopefully someone will provide a more recent example.
I believe this is roughly right (watch me go and be shown to be completely wrong )
But what are they known for? Search, right? What are they less known for? Chromebook, Pixel, ambient/voice services, cloud SaaS, PaaS and IaaS... etc. So, in that respect, I don't think it would hurt or diminish their brand. It would likely help drive increased awareness of products and services not called Search.I'd be really surprised if it was Google - but it would surely be a good thing for the profile of the club and the potential opporunities.
Not sure what Google, one of the best know brands in the world, would get out of it
hateI Hate the sound of that.

That all being said... I do have a hard time imagining them delving into something like this. Not sure it's their normal M/O.

Ah, that makes me question the info. No way one of the tech giants sponsor a stadium in my opinion. They don't need to. The only one that could be possible is Amazon, who're moving into football broadcasting. Not sure if that would be a conflict though.
Btw, this article says the approx. value of our naming rights could be £17.5m a year:

The Google Stadium aka The Danny Rose Bowl!Should add a statue of Rose.
Could it not be The Alphabet Stadium?
