I actually thought in the second half we came out and gave it a go. Gave as good as we got. Yes, the game was long since gone, but we made sure it didn't get worse.

That's not a group of players who don't care, imho.
it was more like Newcastle took it easy on us, they could have had at least another couple of goals if i remember correcty.

Why would they take it easy on us? Did they not want those additional goals?
im not talking like youth football, going easy on us. But they obviously knew the game was won and didn't want to risk injury etc.
And no i wasnt saying they missed the chances on purpose, but i remember them creating more chances than us even in the 2nd half.

I agree with this apart from your first line.
Personally I don't consider him capable of making the right decision in the manager stakes. He's made a few mistakes recently let alone in the past.
I would prefer he had no say at all in anything regarding the football side of the club.
He's done wonders for us structurally but footballing decisions don't seem to be his thing.
Really?
Mourinho was his long term crush and many fans welcomed the appointment of a "winner".

Nuno was Paratici after a series of other fuck ups by Paratici in the process.

So when Nuno had to go it was Levy who personally went and persuaded Conte to come. Conte turned our season around and got top 4.

This myth that Spurs fans didn't want Mourinho or Conte is bollocks. I didn't want Poch sacked but plenty on here and elsewhere did.

In the 16 seasons to 2019 we had 12 seasons with Jol, Redknapp and Poch in charge. Remember the good times, equivalent 75% of his tenure, until he made his pact with Satan (Mourinho) followed shortly afterwards by the Pandemic.
I was just looking at the 10 years from 1992 to 2003 we had 11 changes of manager including 5 caretaker managers. Of all the indignities that included a spell under George Graham. Christian Gross ffs!

If we’d had the interweb in those days it would have been the end of the spurs fan base.

Surely it must be time for Mr Levy to move on from the club and continue his quest for celebrity in another avenue? Can't someone get him a gig on the celebrity bake off, I'm a celebrity get me out of here, or the bake off? His swanning around in his celebrity guise within the club isn't doing any good for anyone.

Well done, Daniel. Finally turned Spurs into the footballing equivalent of Mister Byrite. Poorly made, overpriced tat that falls apart in a stiff breeze

levy will be delighted by that result mainly because it gives him more breathing space from us fans.
Can't believe how little the fans chanted Levy out.

Certainly watching on Tv there did not seem to be much disruption, chants or Levy out stuff, few balloons knocking about, but much quieter than I expected, very disappointing as Levy gets of the hook for a while.

What's the point when some fans are just happy for mediocrity and a nice stadium for multi sport/entertainment.

Total apathy. More fans ready to defend him than try to push for change for the better. Guy infront argued with me, based on fact he’s been going since he’s 10…so fucking what. I’ve been going since I was 8, season ticket for last 20 years, £1100 a year to watch dross football and a team getting less competitive. Fans accepting mediocracy, in same way club does by giving shit like Dier a new contract

Totally agree, that is why Levy can get away with milking the club for money from the stadium. That seems to be his main priority concerts, go karts, hotels American football and Rugby. Anything but football.
I give up because some fans are just to used to mediocrity.

His quest for celebrity? There's some right bollocks written on here at the moment. He couldn't be lower profile if he tried.

That's the thing about football; it's so easy to be judged only on your last result, which can work for and against you. Levy has been hiding behind the short-term memories of our fanbase for decades. Abject performance again, which will appease enough as we didn't lose, two steps forward, two steps back. Meh.

When you say milking, you make it sound like he's removing the money from club.

Why does being patient, and willing to see how things pan out equate to accepting mediocrity?

You'd think supporting spurs for long enough would teach some of you some element of resilience.

Well he’s taken a significant payrise of late…so he’s not scratching a living. We also don’t know the true distribution of income earned from football vs other activities . I think it’s fair to say, Levy’s done v well out of Spurs

No one is denying that. He's entitled to.

However, I'd like Levy to move on, however I go to games to spend time with my father and friends. I see it as a break. I don't go to games to get angry, and protest, and complain.

Everyone has the right to decide what they want to do. It doesn't mean anyone is accepting anything.

On TV, the atmosphere was definitely one of apathy. Spurs fans can't get motivated or organised around anything. And since a majority of fans were also part of the tantrum about not winning trophies under Poch, it doesn't surprise me. There isn't an organising principle and the fan base doesn't appear to have a majority opinion around Levy.

So we'll amble along and hope Levy hits on another lucky break in appointing a manager, like Jol back in the day, before inevitably getting in our way again.

Indeed I also go with my Dad & friends. The thing we have in common and our reason for being there, is to watch Spurs. It’s costs us all a huge amount in both time and money and I think that gives us a right, to voice whilst in the stadium our want for change. If we do it online or elsewhere, it’s not going to get though to the powers that be.
Staying quiet and paying your money every week, to Spurs, is exactly what they want. Complicit to their decision making

This is boring now...

How is Levy milking money from the stadium?

The problem with these lies is that they get perpetuated so often that people come to believe it must be true.

It is an undeniable fact that all the money the club earns stays within the club and is spent by the club. Levy and ENIC have never taken any money out of the club.

There are legitimate things you could choose to be angry about but to get angry about something which is just not true is a waste of everyone's time.
