Welcome Poch! - I will support you all the way!

...my only concern is the part from the official statement which names him as our Head Coach (NOT Manager!) - just doesn't sit well with me, sounds like (yet again) we could be a position where someone else decides on which players will be bought (..ahem Levini) and Poch will be ordered to get them to work together! Sounds very different to the freedoms he seemed to have been appointed at Southampton.

You know what, I've only followed us for 6 years, and we've gone through Juanque, 'Arry, AVB, and Tim. Now Mauricio. Truly run the gambit of almost every possible manager.

There's been 160+ pages discussing Poch, and there's not much more than I can say about his tactics, his history, or anything else. All I can say now is that I am fully backing him and I am excited about next season. Come on you fucking Spurs.

Mauricio Pochettino is joined at Tottenham by Jesus Perez (Assistant Head Coach), Miguel D'Agostino (First Team Coach) and Toni Jimenez (Goalkeeper Coach), who he previously worked at both Southampton and Espanyol.

Spells the end for Tony Parks I would imagine.

That is one of the reasons why he was employed he obviously is ok with The set up.

Hey buddy, i agree, but it's the same old with Spurs, i don't think we've had a proper 'Manager' since the time of Hoddle have we?

Good luck Poch

Get the team playing attractive football and don't criticise the Chairman in public and you will do well!

True! It's just the term 'Head Coach' doesn't sound right to me. Don't think I've ever heard Fergie, Mourinho or even Pep referred to as Head Coach!

There's a pattern there Juande ( continental type ), Harry ( wide boy ), Andre ( continental type ), Tim ( wide boy ), Pochettino ( continental type ).... that can only mean one thing Levy's next appointment will be Ian Hollaway

Interesting comparison with 2 managers who were in a similar situation with smaller clubs. I must admit I was not keen on Rodgers or Martinez a year ago but they have both proven me wrong. I think that is the main reason I have been a lot more open minded about Poch coming in. Here's hoping he can have a similar impact on us that Rodgers and MArtinez have had with Liverpool and Everton.
