To use a horse racing metaphor, unless your nag has already fallen (i.e Sheff Utd) then you ain't going to be tearing up your betslip 13 fences into the grand national. There's a long way to go. Liverpool will have more bad days at the office. Win tomorrow and all will be well once more.

Its 13 games in ffs, plenty more twists and turns and so much can happen.

Why some people are so negative is beyond me.
It's their comfort blanket that great big opportunity to say told you so.The post's don't surprise me it's quite repetitive and boring I tip my hat to the like's of you,Shadydan and BBLG for even wasting energy trying to re-educate them tbh. It's a thankless task I often scroll past looking for the odd gb(numbers) guy to make a funny post.Reality is Liverpool got first chance to ride the wave of confidence after their last min win against us by schooling Palace today.Imagine we played today took our frustration out on Leicester went first and then pressure on Liverpool tomorrow be different mood then.

We need a thread where they arent allowed in. The defeatism is ridiculous
Constructive critism is good like Spursbear suggesting going after Palace as oppose to resting on our laurels with our slender lead. It's the armageddon types you know the ones that can't get down quick enough to rim the scouse, failing that f spurs for losing once and a while. You're fooling no one with that overhyped jumped up shite.

Didn't we have a goal diff of 12 on them, now its 5 the other way, in what a matter of 4 matches. No anti football there.

Well, a win tomorrow actually gives us a little cushion back ahead of some easier fixtures up until Liverpool at end of January.

Our rivals have tougher games in this period so it's imperative we stay closer to Liverpool than 3rd/4th position in this period.

Ha. We had a tough run of fixtures in that period. We were never going to massively increase the GD.

We have until the end of January to try and increase that significantly.

The way I see it: City, Chelsea, United, and Liverpool are all who we thought they were. Teams with more financial capacity, better squads than us top to bottom, and some vulnerabilities. None of them are unassailable like Conte’s Chelsea, 19/20 Liverpool or Pep’s 100 point City team. They will all be in and around our point total due to their attacking quality against lower sides. City/United had slow starts but it’s clear they’re better than the likes of Leicester and Southampton over the long haul due to their superior depth.

Look, in August if you had offered me the chance to go second, only 3 points behind Liverpool, heading into Christmas, I’d have ripped your hand off. Winning the Premier League was never going to be without competition.

Our goal difference was a freak really. And West Ham changed everything. Profoundly damaged the team's psyche. I'd be surprised if we score more than 2 in a game much again this season. Get ahead and take no risks.

Anyone who concedes title race after 14 games needs their balls examined, hopefully the team for less quit in them

This is it in a nutshell (that ones for the scholars), we as fans don't have to actually do anything, so why fans shy away from title talk when the team could go 2nd with their next win is mind boggling to me. We don't have to do anything but get behind the team and enjoy the ride and some fans are so scared of being embarrassed for letting themselves believe they don't allow themselves to get caught up in it.

I don't think there's a reasonable spurs fan who thinks we're the most likely to win the title but every fan should believe that we could win the title, otherwise what is the fucking point.
