Real battle on our hands to finish in the top 4, what a difference a week makes
Yeah, but winning the league always depended on Liverpool imploding and that didn't happen. Think we have enough for top 4, unless we get yearly Kane injury again. Leicester are definitely better than us and if Ndidi can stay healthy they won't lose many games, but they will probably do yearly Brendan Rodgers implosion in later part of the season. Plus they don't really do well when they have other cups to focus on and they will probably beat Slavia Prague and move on in Europa. We should be able to get 4, especially if we stop playing teams like Palace like they are Fergie's United.League gone. You don't win the league with 1 point out of 9 in a week. Top 4 will be a struggle if we don't start getting wins on the board.
They defenitely aren't and that match doesn't change that.Leicester are definitely better than us
Good thing I'm not basing it one match then. They defenitely aren't and that match doesn't change that.
You kinda are ... We were poor and gifted them two goals what else did they do?Good thing I'm not basing it one match then.
They’ll lose their next home game. But then again so will we probably. They defenitely aren't and that match doesn't change that.
We were poor because they completely shut us down, and they were unlucky with VAR and possibly another penalty. They showed ability to counter, make great killer passes, defend well and had great work rate and won almost every 50/50 ball. Doing basically what we want to do.You kinda are ... We were poor and gifted them two goals what else did they do?
So they are based on worse manager, worse squad, easier fixtures or being massively dependant on penalties?Good thing I'm not basing it one match then.
We opened them up two or three times at least and didn't do enough when we did, they could have had a player sent off - that's football, they weren't better than us in my book, not when we gifted them two goals. We were poor because they completely shut us down, and they were unlucky with VAR and possibly another penalty. They showed ability to counter, make great killer passes, defend well and had great work rate and won almost every 50/50 ball. Doing basically what we want to do.
We drew too many games and they won many games. Draws are useless and losses are overrated IMO. We can lose a few more but also get some more wins and we may still be on track. How is Utd up there!? 2nd if they win their game in hand
Oh it's the good old "they are just lucky and there's a conspiracy with penalties" argument I see. Maybe trying to attack on the ground and dribbling just maybe leads to more penalties than route one style? Or Bruno Fernandes and Vardy are evil magicians. And what easy scheadule did they have?So they are based on worse manager, worse squad, easier fixtures or being massively dependant on penalties?
Problem with our style is whenever we are 1 up we set out to defend and will always be vulnerable for an equalizer (=draws)We drew too many games and they won many games. Draws are useless and losses are overrated IMO. We can lose a few more but also get some more wins and we may still be on track.
Liverpool's title to lose. How is the league gone when Citeh and Chelscum are in the shout? Seriously.
Everton were in a slump and then some positive results they are second, back in the game. United too.
We climbed the table through a series of wins. Nothing is definite we can't do the same.
While it is true liverscum will be hard to catch now, the first third of the season did show that they do have possible off days too. And so do the rest of us - which right now we are experiencing.
