Sissoko ?.
Being serious I think he will play wide right more than cm under Mourinho in a defence/sub role

Ive got a feeling Mourinho won’t fancy him. He’s not technical enough in midfield. I felt a lot more comfortable in midfield without him playing.

Yes. The tournament in Brazil goes from March to December. So the january window is the best time to get someone from Brazil imo
Here's the tweet you mention

Plays better on the left. He's similar to Mane imo, so he would be a good fit

I cant picture a player named Everton playing for anyone but Everton. Although id laugh if Liverpool signed him

Could you break down his qualities to help us get a better idea- FIFA20 has fuck all about him:
Pace
Strength
Position
Skill
Shooting
Work ethic

Cheers

I tend to agree think his running and dribbling is more suited to the wide role the way we set up yesterday

Yeah maybe, unfortunately he also needs to be able to finish if he’s playing in one of those positions are we know all about his ability on that front ?

It's difficult to know what we need when a few players haven't been given the opportunity to show whether they can fix an issue for us.

Right now I feel the fullbacks are the biggest area we can improve, however I wonder whether Foyth can be the answer, whether Sessegnon can be the answer. I think it'd be unfair to say no they're not when they've not had the chance to show what they can do and that'd be my priority from now until January to see whether they and also Dier can do the business.

I'd say my wishlist for Jan is probably in order:

RB - depending on how Foyth does
DM - depending on how Dier does, personally I think we will need somebody better regardless
CB - I saw some clips of Ruben Dias, can see why he's so highly rated and also the Leipzig CB's

Then possibly a LB depending on Sessegnon but i'm really hopeful there, reckon we could do with a 2nd option but could leave that until summer if Sessegnon does well.

Then in the summer I'd be looking at any of those 4 positions if they haven't been filled. along with:

Goalkeeper - I think it's time for Lloris to move on and Kane be made captain and I'd prioritise Lilles keeper Maingan from the clips I've seen
RW - I think we've needed one for about 6 years now.
AM - To replace Eriksen who I'm assuming will leave and I hope that AM is Bruno Fernandes
And of course I'd still love Dybala as a forward option.

Would love Sancho. Rumoured to be unsettled at Dortmund. We have Mourinho, a number of his international teammates, and he could make right wing his own.

True. Like I said in a previous post I think he will be used in a defensive/sub role

Yeah... When Levy told Jose he'd back him in the transfer market I'm not sure this is the kind of signing he had in mind

I'd be interested to see who we can attract in January and on - you'd imagine a raft of players who may have not considered us would be attracted now.

Loan bale and we get top four

Not going to happen. Aside from the obvious financial risk of signing an injury prone 30 year old, he’s just not a Mourinho player at all. He’s hardly going to be tracking back to help out the full back as Mourinho requires of his wide players.

That’s also true. Son and Moura were very conscientious about dropping back to support the defence on Saturday

I think Mourinho is still a pull, yeah. More so I think he is probably in with the super-agents so might be able to force things through. At the end of the day though there will still be players who will be out of reach of our finances, and Sancho is probably in that category.

Shame obviously, would be perfect for us.

I don't like this therefore I'm going to choose to ignore it. BRING BALE HOME!!!

I think that Mane is a very fair comparison. He's an explosive right footed LW. Maybe with a little bit more flair and less strength than Mane

I think a keeper is going to be a essential buy asap
I believe lloris will want out as soon as he is fit due to poch going.
Haven't got a clue who we would or could get but Jose has had a good habit of buying great keepers.

If we are going for another winger, I'd try for Everton Soares

He looks very skilful, direct, quick and has a decent shot on him. From looking on the internet there’s numerous stories stating European sides are giving him a wide berth as at 23 years old age they think he’s too old to move to Europe on the basis there’s a high risk of him not settling. Whereas players like Martinelli at Arsenal is of the right age, circa 18 and will have a resale value if he doesn’t settle.

I doubt we can match the financials. It’s been said so many times before, he’s just too expensive which is why even wealthy idiots like Utd didn’t go in for him

And is he even that good anymore?
He won’t be the same bale that left us and imo he is a smug prick who would think he is too good for little old Tottenham
