Will watch Are when we play them on saturday again. But I'm far from convinced by him. Just because he scores a couple of goals doesn't make him a good defender.
He’s a good player. Quick, good in the air for his height, and comfortable on the ball. Bournemouth always play an open style and will concede some goals when they go through their tough runs. Also formed a very good partnership with Van Dijk for Netherlands.

Well, lets see how he does against Kane and co on saturday. That's as good a test as anything if we are on form.

It's just every time I've seen him play he makes a mistake. People don't give Sanchez a break game in game out. This lad would get it even more in the ear.

I have you right he does make mistakes but for me it's about the progression, I think it's down to a manager to iron out those mistakes out of him.

I like Everton. But he's not what we need if he's best on the left like Mané. We should buy for positions not just because they're good. We have bigger holes than luxury players imo.

Personally i like O. Dembele, Ziyech, Zaniolo, Bale etc..

couldnt disagree more - we should buy talented players rather than overvalue players based on their position. Talent will sort itself out, especially with a coach like Jose.

Hardly plays for the Netherlands aha Van Dijk De Ligt play CB. Ake played against Estonia because VVD pulled out

Talent rarely sorts itself out. There are plenty of talented players that play in the wrong club, style, shape, or position. As a result, they no longer are judged to have quality.

Our first period of the season is a fine example of this, as is Utd in previous years.

System fit, in my opinion, is becoming more important to managers by the day.

He "can" play. Yes. Son can also play on the right, but he's not good in that position. Like Eriksen/Lamela/Lo Celso. That's my point.

If Mourinho wanna play like City/Liverpool with 2 quick WF's, we need a starter that is left-footed. Lucas is alright, but I think we can do better in the future.

If you're after a left footed WF/IF who can play on the right then my choice would be Tsygankov. Don't think he'd cost a huge fee and has a very high ceiling, but already good enough to come in as a first team player now.

I think a keeper is going to be a essential buy asap
I believe lloris will want out as soon as he is fit due to poch going.
Haven't got a clue who we would or could get but Jose has had a good habit of buying great keepers.

Alexander Nubel at Schalke is the one we need, 23 years old, performing very well in the Bundesliga, our of contract at the end of the season!
Coached by the same coach as Neuer, who thinks that Nubel is a better keeper at this age than he was!

This goes without saying.

Not big on keepers knowledge wise
Everyone seems to think he is great so we need to buy him now not wait until lloris tells us he wants out in Feb.
A top team needs a great keeper to succeed.
Jose has a habit of picking up the best ones so fingers crossed this happens with us.

He's got Bayern written all over him imo

Worth noting that Bayern just extended the contract with Christian Früchtl, 19, who is a prospect from the academy. I think it will difficult to accomodate both him and Nübel.

He is highly regarded for the future in the computer games.

If that is based on reality or just that he's coming through the Bayern academy I don't know. But they could have the Neuer replacement already.

Spurs keeping tabs on Alexander Nubel, the Schalke goalkeeper with a ‘Neuer vibe’

Tottenham are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper and have identified Schalke’s Alexander Nubel as a potential target.

Nubel, 23, only established himself in the Schalke team during the second half of last season, but he was named the club’s captain at the start of this term and has played every minute of the current campaign.

He’s conceded 15 goals in 12 Bundesliga matches and kept only three clean sheets, but Nubel has been praised for his performances between the sticks for Schalke, who currently sit fifth in the table.

However, doubts have been cast over Nubel’s future as he began the season with only 12 months left on his contract and he’s yet to put pen to paper on fresh terms, despite being offered a new deal in August.

And Tottenham are aware of this situation and are keeping tabs on the young shot-stopper.

“One little whisper that came my way on Spurs in the last few days is that they are keeping an eye on Alexander Nubel,” European football expert Kevin Hatchard told talkSPORT.

“He is the captain of Schalke and a goalkeeper in his early 20s. He is a very good goalkeeper with a [Manuel] Neuer vibe about him.

“He’s good with his feet, commanding, and he’s got a bit of arrogance about him which I don’t think is a terrible thing.

“He is out of contract at the end of the season and hasn’t signed a new one yet.

“He was linked very strongly with Bayern, but the problem is Neuer is still there. So is he going to go to Bayern and sit on the bench? I don’t think he is. Spurs were linked with him in the summer and my understanding is they are keeping an eye on what is going on in that situation.”

Tottenham are in need of a new glovesman with Hugo Lloris struggling this season before picking up an injury playing against Brighton last month.

Paulo Gazzaniga has deputised for the sidelined Frenchman but looked similarly shaky between the sticks.
