Dembele and M'Vila is a step in the right direction. I am seeing this 4-3-3 alignment coming together. And, Jesus Christ, could it be? No, it can't, be... Ermahgerd... It's potential squad rotation!
It all sounds too good to be true, although I am still a little concerned that we have had a massive influx of ITK today and not a lot of striker talk.

I really want another striker

So that's how we're paying for it! I knew Levy had an ace in the hole, give em some of this:

I'm starting to think that as well...

His big problem is his poor fitness record - It has blighted him throughout his entire carrier. Do you think RM would have sold him to us for €8m. Its why this €18m price tag is just laughable.

I have no doubt we sign a striker. It's just such a huge need with Defoe not being a line leader.

If we sign 1, we possibly move Defoe to finance most of it (which is why Remy makes a lot of sense). Defoe to Sunderland, Remy to us. The financials would have us in the red, but not by all that much. Similar to how we managed to do the Bassong outgoing and Ade incoming.

I'd be ecstatic if Dembele were to come.

For some reason even more so that Moutinho.

*Disclaimer - i do however rate Moutinho.

Good, hopefully no one comes close to paying enough for Rafa and he stays.

Dembele drives forward with great purpose but doesn't have the vision or the passing to anything with it. Not a luka replcement at all. Rather we went all out for Mountinho or just stuck with Hudd

Didnt he have a 97% pass completion rate at Old Trafford?

yeahbut how many passes??? 25 or so for a whole 90 mins??

He looks great on the ball but he Doesnt play a heap of one two or run a fotball game. He reminds me of Anderson a lot. Its not that he isn't a god players just that he isnt a passing deep lying playmaker.

Believe he was 49 of 50. Check his successful dribble rate. He had more successful dribbles around defenders than our whole team had against West Brom... his competition was slightly better as well. The guy's a talent.

Um... yeah.

But if he doesn't want to stay, and the manager doesn't want him either, what will that achieve?

Any of us (i'm not sure if this includes you BTW, just a general statement) who wanted a change of direction from Harry (AVB wasn't my first choice but still a step in the right direction I thought) have to back the manager and accept his changes, no matter how hard they appear to swallow.

Rafa being open to a move and not wanting to stay aren't really the same things.

Same with us being open to selling him or the manager not wanting him.

I'd rather us worry about replacing one of our best players we just sold than trying to sell another one.

Now be honest....

Have you watched anymore than just a couple of MOTD highlights of him?

Because over the last couple of seasons he has mightily impressed.

Everyone has different opinions from Levy to AVB. Whats the point of having 1000 ppl on a forum all saying the same thing.

I can respect the view of anyone unless it's racist, prejudice, or flat out unfounded.

But, you better come with something to back it up. The stats are there. The guys a good passer, he's a fantastic dribbler, he's about as close as we're going to get to filling the void Modric left with an affordable price tag.

He's been playing some phenomenal football over the past couple years and it's gone widely unnoticed because of the club he plays for. We'd be lucky to have a guy like him if we want to move to the 4-3-3.
