Probably being an idiot but if we really are signing Moutinho - does anyone think Dembele might play on the right of the front three? Like I said - probably being stupid

I share your stupidity my friend!!

I thought about that, but he hardly has the goal scoring record to back that up. But maybe.

It depends how many chances he had. That's why I think it is hard to look at players past records. Van Persie scored a lot but he also probably had a hell of a lot of chances to get them. We just need to know we have a front three who can put chances away if they come to them and get in the positions they need to be in. As he used to be a striker I'm sure he can finish

I was thinking this. Fulham aren't known for their attacking prowess, so he may chip in with a few more for us.

Exactly. I am not anti-VDV or anything but he did miss a fair few chances himself. Wasn't the most clinical finisher in the world. I think Other players would have scored a fair few with the number of chances people created for him. I still don't think Moutinho will happen but I personally think him coming in and Rafa leaving would be okay. I don't think Rafa fits the style AVb wants to playS

Someone said earlier to look out for Gary Jacob's info because its very good.

I thought Moutinho said he would jump at the chance to play for AVB again, and its widely reported he wants to come - Porto asking price obviously being the problem.

Leaves me a little

So this guy is rafas biographer or something. Thought is ask him what's what.

@realchazlacey: @MJvdHeuvel do u think we will manage to keep rafa at spurs this window?
I hope so.

He responded.

@MJvdHeuvel: @realchazlacey It's in the hands of mister Levy

So maybe not all down to the player?

This guy works for the Times. Does he live on the moon?!
Yes he does. Neil Armstrong left him there in 1969. Luckily for him, he is equipped with extraordinary telekinetic powers that enable him to communicate to Earth. The only problem is that everything that he says is translated into bullshit by the Earth's atmosphere.

The problem with Dembele was while he might be a good finisher (I don't really know) he wasn't going getting in to the positions to score goals. He very rarely got into the positions to show if he was or not. I remember Gary Neville doing a piece on Fulham last year and he pointed out Dembele doing some great stuff in the build up for them but he never got into the box and, as a result, not getting many clear cut chances. That's probably one of the reasons why he's played in a deeper role than he was bought for.

Lennon has the same problems. I think he's a good finisher but he doesn't get into the right positions enough of the time.

Thanks for this. Good read. Back to the drawing board then as I think we need another option for right forward!
